   友達の紹介でここは有名で美味しいと聞いてたので行きました。かなり混んでたけど、予約してたのでスムーズに入店でき、アペタイザーの生牡蠣、ロックフェラーもとても美味しくて、メインディッシュに頼んだクラブケーキもこれでもかと言うぐらいのカニ身でとっても美味しかったです。知り合いには感謝です

   Entrance is very crowded. Wait to be seated procedure is quick. But after that it was a really nice experience to have diner in such a historical grill. Great!

   We enjoyed everything fantastically. I lead a group of 16 to the Capitol for four nights and three days. Dinner at Old Ebbitt Grill was a highlight. We loved everything about it from start to finish. We particularly enjoyed our waitress, Remi. She was a doll and we made her part of our group.

    We had an 11:00am reservation, but arrived 10 minutes early. The 2 hostesses said we needed to choose between the breakfast menu (ending at 11:00am) and the lunch menu (starting at 11:00am) before they would seat us. We weren't sure which we wanted, but had to review menus at the hostess stand and make a quick decision just because they didn't give us the option to sit and look at the menus in depth at the table. It felt rushed and impersonal. We opted for breakfast and the food was fine, but nothing to write home about. We've been told by numerous friends and family how delicious the food is at Old Ebbitt and how much we definitely need to dine here. Ultimately, we weren't all that impressed with the experience. Perhaps the lunch food options would have been better, but we were forced to choose between one or the other; and the forced choice itself was a turnoff.

    Nice historical restaurant. Great ambiance. However, we had to send back our dishes. Plates and glasses were dirty one glass had a crack from top to bottom. Plates had what looked like dried cocktail sauce on them. Hard to believe whoever set the table missed it. The waitress seemed impatient. The waffle was great but the chicken lacked flavor. The oysters Rockefeller and eggs Benedict were good. The caviar was excellent. We were there for brunch.

    Weird smell upon entering. We almost left because of it. But once we got to our seat, it dissipated. Then the food was amazing and the service was great, so still very happy overall with the experience.

    Love Ebbitt it has a special city charm. It’s right in the middle of Federal Buildings, museums and retail. It’s good for families, couples and groups. The food is always on point. I worked for the Treasury Dept for over 30 year and this was and is my go to spot. The food is always consistent. They are known for their oyster bar and drinks. Brunch was delicious!

    Costumer are very racist in that restaurant I had one behind me he make feel really bad my daughter started to speak Spanish and then one of the customers start seeing my baby like racist expression and he closed his kids ears that way they couldn’t heard my daughter speaking Spanish we should be treated with respect I didn’t see any manager around unfortunately to told him the situation I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to my Hispanic friends at all other than that everything was fine

    The experience was quite pleasant. The food was delicious. However, I must mention that the behavior of one particular waiter named Fabian was disappointing. Throughout our meal, he exhibited rudeness and unprofessionalism that left a negative impression on our dining experience. Firstly, we encountered difficulties in getting his attention. Despite our attempts to call him over, he seemed to ignore us, which created frustration and made us feel neglected as customers. Moreover, when we did manage to grab his attention, he responded to our inquiries while hastily walking away, showing a lack of respect and proper engagement.

    This is one of my favorite restaurants in DC, and I love taking out of town visitors here. This time did not disappoint as we were celebrating a birthday as well.
