Great food, and service. Management was very friendly.
Very quiet went on a Sunday afternoon. Food was great and super filling. Definitely recomend the pappardelle with goose.
Never disappointed. Brought some out of town friends for dinner. Everything was perfect. The food was outstanding, the best gnocchi in town, the risotto with bone marrow was awesome! The service was great. It was one of those nights where the stars are aligned.
The restaurant has a nice ambiance when you enter. The bar area to wait for your table is narrow and may be uncomfortable if you are a large group waiting for a table. The service may be more attentive.
Beautiful restaurant and fantastic wine. But the pork shank was terrible. Under salted and somehow dry, with a flavorless gravy that did almost nothing to help. The meat tasted of hard water.
The grilled octopus was chewy and seasonless.
The best salad was redeeming and had a delicious soft cheese that we couldn’t get enough of.
Service was great, but I would not eat here again.
Very delicious food in a beautiful space. Opt for the main dining room as the 'private room' or maybe back room lost a little of the energy of the main room. Great mixed drinks as well.
Went for a birthday and had great food and service. Appetizers are quick and delicious. We all got something different for main course including the nightly special and all were superb. Can't wait to go back
One of the best Caesar salads I’ve been had. Caesar is always a safe salad - hard to make super bad or super good. This one was very different and extremely delicious.
The food was definitely amazing and I will be coming back here. LOVED IT
The food is amazing and the staff is awesome! We come here at least once a month for the risotto and vino. The Milanese is our favorite and the best dish on the menu. Their sommelier has great taste.
Too expensive for what it is ! $320 in two with the least expenxive wine - one bottle! - and no meat. How can a pan fried turbot cost 90 bucks? Definitely not a good deal, especially for an Italian...
Service was top notch. Food overall was very good. Pulling into the place was a bit scary, but once inside you will love this place. Great Job BRERA!
Went there with my family for an early New Years Eve dinner. We were seated at the first table inside - closest to the entrance. We were blasted with cold air every time the door opened (every 5-10 minutes). When we told our server that it was too cold he responded saying that people at this table always complain but it means that he gets done early. We ate with our coats on but did opt out of dessert so we could get out as soon as possible.
The place is very beautiful and the food was good though. Main issue was with table and the fact that our server was not very knowledgeable or helpful. I wouldn’t go back.
Creative and vibrant environment with wonderful food.
Always delicious! The food, wine and cocktails are outstanding!
Food and service was excellent!! I recommend the pork loin. Delicious!!
I have dined here many times. I was very disappointed in the waitress. The rest of the staff (bus boys, servers, water, etc) were very attentive, but the waitress seemed distracted and unfocused.
The food was very good. We had lots of dishes and shared them for a table of 4.
The pork with the dumplings were our favorite. The Rombo (Turbot) fish was good and large
enough for 4, $96. Staff was friendly. Holiday decor was nice.
Thank you to everyone who worked on Christmas Eve 2018 — from the front of the house to the bar service to the wait staff and the excellent chefs — for delivering perfection and making our evening so memorable.
Still one of the best restaurants in la! Our server wasn’t into it this visit but usually, service is exceptional. Every dish was exceptional too! Don’t miss the gnocchi or white truffles if they are available!
Clifford was amazing. He recommended delicious dishes. We will be back.
A diamond in the rough that is the outskirts of Downtown LA. Upon arrival, I was apprehensive as the area wasn't exactly the greatest. And then we walked in the restaurant. Excellent ambiance, food, service. I recco it to all.
Loved it great food
We waited 45 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Once seated, a waiter did not appear for 15 minutes. When he finally did and we went to order, some of the dishes were no longer available. They were not at all ready for the holiday lunch rush. Bad experience all around.
Great atmosphere. Delicious food. A little pricey for such small quantity.
Very good dining experience, great service and excellent food!
Officine Brera is always delicious. The steak and pork shank were cooked to perfection!
Excellent recommendations from staff.
Nice, friendly, authentic italian food. Service was a little slow but they got our food correctly.
Chef forgot to add seasoning to the octopus. Whoever that brought the bottle of champagne did not pour all the way full and we had to refill ourselves most of the time.
The food is always perfection!
Our first visit proved to be fruitful, delicious food and wonderful service. We enjoyed our evening out at Officine very much.
Wonderful food, service and environment
Food was well preserved but not distinct enough to stand out.
We had a group of five and were seated toward the back corner - and though the restaurant was barely half full, it was SO LOUD already, we gave up on half of our conversations throughout the meal. If there are only two of you, sit next to each other so you can hear the other.
Food is excellent (except fritters were all dough and not much flavor), service was pretty good (some things not explained or asked early on - how the lamb chops are cooked/how we would like them cooked), had to ask three times for the fritters...
The ambience is 'cool' - just don't expect to have any deep, ongoing conversations.
Excellent food and service in a trendy Arts District location. Onsite valet parking.
Rosotta was nust as well the ravioli..
This was my second time in this restaurant and it is a very special place. One of my favorites.
A fantastic restaurant in an otherwise ugly but rapidly gentrifying neighborhood, Officine BRERA is worth the price at least once or twice a year. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and she was incredibly happy. (As was I!)
Pro-tip: got a special bottle of wine you've been saving? Bring it!
From their (huge, very expensive) drink menu:
"corkage fee - you are welcome to bring in labels that are NOT present on our wine list. We will charge $20.00 each for
the first two 750ml bottles and $35.00 each for 750ml bottles thereafter. No exceptions will be made, thank you for your
We both had risotto -- she got the Verde, I got the Basa Padana -- both were perfect.
Dessert was a dark chocolate mousse... OUT OF THIS WORLD. Get it. No regrets.
The service could have been a few minutes faster after we were seated. (Waited for what felt like 5-10 minutes before getting a server). But we were tucked away against the wall in the back room and it was really busy in the whole place, so I was patient.
Worth the wait, just make sure you make a reservation!
