Attended the Pinstripe Bowl Game and thought I would treat myself and guest to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Everything was spot on and it was a great experience. I look forward to going again next year if I attend a Yankees game.
Bowl game. Had to send back 4 of 9 dishes because food was not cooked.
Great Experience. Love NYY steak
Love love love it here. Every time I come
To a game I eat here. Let’s go Yankee
Extraordinary first game of the ALDS playoffs, YANKEES vs Twins. Energy was electric and the staff is always on point!
Ballgame at Yankee stadium
Lunch (burgers and chicken sandwiches were great. We were seated immediately upon arriving and our server was very professional and attentive over all.
Food and service was amazing! Always a good spot to eat!
I will say, I do find it a bit overpriced.
Very nice place, could off some other lunch items, but very nice
We wound up sitting at the bar so we didn’t have to miss any of the game. Our bartender Danielle was amazing! She was very professional, knowledgeable and made excellent drinks! (Bullet Manhattan/ Blackberry Bourbon) Our food was spectacular but the service was the highlight of our visit! Thank you so much! We’ll be back!
My review not good! Upon entering the restaurant my two sons and I where told to wait Why we didn’t know. While waiting three people came in and got seated right away I went over to the hostess and ask her what was going on she had know explanation. That is known way to treat customers
One of the best meals ever. Steak was cooked to perfection.
The highlight of YANKEE STADIUM is meeting new friends in NYY STEAKHOUSE and the warm welcome I receive from the staff!
Wonderful dinner at NYY Steak - Stephanie our server was excellent and Caroline was kind enough to hold our favorite table because we were a bit late because of traffic. Very much appreciated. Strip steak was delicious and cooked to perfection, shrimp cocktail out of sight and let's not forget those warm biscuits and crispy french fries. Great way to have a fine dinner with excellent service pre game and they recognized my special birthday with candle and cheesecake. Thank you NYY Steak for a most memorable experience! We'll be back for the play offs!
Been here several times now. This was probably my favorite time in. I suppose it was the company that I was with, but the experience at NYY Steak is always great. Forgot our waiter’s name, but the young man was great. Food was great. If only the Yanks would have clinched that night!
That evening my son attended his second game at yankee stadium. My wife and a few of her coworkers took him to his first game when he was 5 1/2 yrs old (late spring of the 2018 season). But on the evening of 9/18/2019 it was my turn... it was one of those moments that I’ve been dreaming of since the day he was born... his first Father/son Yankees game! And I wanted it to be extra special for him and I. So I left work early, picked my son up early from school and started off with an amazing dinner at your restaurant. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was top notch, comfortable and relaxing. The knowledge and professionalism of your staff exceeded my expectations. And what can can say about the food that you already don’t know.. it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were balanced to perfection and seasoned perfectly. Your chef/chefs understand the art of cooking. Lots of restaurants order and pay top$$ for the best quality produce/proteins but try to hard and forget that cooking is about enhancing the natural flavors of the product and not masking them unnecessary sauces/spices and herbs.
Thank you for an awesome dining experience and expect to be see us again in the future
The service was outstanding - totally professional - and the ambiance, with all of the pictures of Yankee greats, was fun, but the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. We had eaten in the mid-town NYY Steak several times before it closed and we felt that the food there was significantly better.
Great treat for our grandson! Got his name engraved on his bone-in rib eye! Very impressive!
I have been to NYY Steakhouse many times. Every time I go, I ask for Manny as my server and he is fabulous. I am never waiting for a drink and he gets us in and out quickly so we don't miss the first pitch. If you are going to the game or just want to impress someone, go to NYY and ask for Manny.
The Fam went on Labor Day , was raining, I checked in advance , then decide to book a reservation, I didn’t want to stay with the humidity and I figured the game will be delayed, the atmosphere is lovely and quiet, service was quick and fast, wasn’t crowded at the restaurant that day, the food is delicious, my 3 yr old made noise but we didn’t sit next to any one to disturbed them.
Always wanted to eat here and glad I took the opportunity to do it. Great service and food.
Service was amazing and food impeccable!
Food & Service were excellent! Staff arranged for a delightful birthday celebration.
Excellent meal. Oysters-Chops - desert everything was perfect. Our reservation was the last one almost closing and we still were treated better than expected. No rush. Outstanding Service.
As always for was delicious. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for
We arrived approximately 40 minutes late due to Friday afternoon traffic on the Cross Bronx. We called beforehand to advise that we were running late. The receptionist said that they would hold the table as long as they could. We did not expect restaurant to hold the table that long. When we checked in at 5:40, they said we could have a table at 5:45 pm if someone was a no-show. At 5:45 we asked for a table and got one quickly.
Now, the game was scheduled to start at 7:05 pm. We figured would be watching some of the game as we ate. We were out by 6:40 and did not feel rushed. We were at our seats by the national anthem.
Best steak ever. Service was fantastic. Great for after the game.
Always outstanding food and service. Our server Annabelle was very efficient and pleasant. Seafood tower amazing.
Very competitive to other major steak houses in NYC. Love the atmosphere. Like the fact that side dishes are larger now in comparison to past visits.
NYY Steak should have their own entrance same as the Hard Rock. I had a 11am reservation and had to stand in the gate 6 line for 30 minutes.
This was the third day we have eaten here after the Yankees game. We had a very attentive waiter, Manny. He was always there if we needed something. We had our food quickly, our water and ice teas were filled without having to ask. I highly recommend The Yankee Steakhouse
The steak was a little over cooked than the medium well we anticipated. Still delicious just more than expected
As Always, the steaks were cooked to perfection and the staff very friendly.
The Steaks always tastes better when the Yankees win.
The experience was awesome
Left without ever getting our food
Service was disappointing— wanted to give the restaurant a second chance as we go to a lot of Yankee games and wanted a nice relaxing dinner (not ballpark food)
Unfortunately we will never go back
The service was impecable. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The shrimp cocktail is always a favorite, but the Yankeetinin's are a home run. We are sure to visit again. GO YANKEES!
Food was just ok for a restaurant with such good, prior recommendations. We waited extremely and overly long for all our meals. The noise level was “over the top” loud- noise defining. There was a large group of people who were extremely annoying and bothersome right in front of our table speaking loudly and shouting. I brought this to the attention of the waitress and manager and yes, as I was told by the manager who working “This is Yankee Stadium you know” which I agreed. I also thought was very condescending and improper to tell a customer who paying for an Special Occasion-Birthday celebration at a restaurant at a such a revered venue. He could have gone over and asked them to move kindly to another side of the bar and not to be hanging over our table shouting.
Overall this dining experience was not a successful and pleasurable night out which was totally agreed upon by our group.
Is a credit or monetary reimbursement is in order here of some kind, yes, I most definitely agree something should be extended to myself and my family. And yes, we are all huge Yankee fans also. And that is my honest feedback! Advise accordingly.
Pros: good food, good service, stand up management
Cons: had to wait almost 10 minutes to be seated despite reservations on open table. The food took a while, but the restaurant was almost to capacity. There was an issue with the food preparation but the service staff and management handled it quickly and appropriately. They made the experience go from subpar to very good.
We had a reservation for lunch, we arrived at noon, we were promptly seated. That process went smoothly, the table met our expectations, we anticipated a positive lunch experience. We requested the sandwich menu from the hostess (the sandwich menu is not included with the full menu which the customer is given when seated) and she gave it to us. At 12:10 PM we placed our sandwich orders with our server ( (2) hot chicken sandwiches, (1) lobster roll, (1) burger, all with fries, standard from the menu, no special requests). At 12:50 PM our lunches finally arrived (15 minutes before game time) and the chicken and burger sandwiches were cold, had been sitting a long time, only the fries were warm. During the delay we noticed that other tables which had been seated long after us, received their food also from the sandwich menu, before we did! Since the game was about to start we ate quickly, very disappointed, but did not complain to the server as we had no time to wait. When she brought the check, we paid the bill, we expressed our disappointment with the meal. She came back with our change and said the chef offered us a free dessert... we had no time for dessert, the game had started! We left the NYY Steak feeling very let down. Based on this experience I would not recommend NYY Steak -Yankee Stadium to anyone.
