Great treat for our grandson! Got his name engraved on his bone-in rib eye! Very impressive!
I have been to NYY Steakhouse many times. Every time I go, I ask for Manny as my server and he is fabulous. I am never waiting for a drink and he gets us in and out quickly so we don't miss the first pitch. If you are going to the game or just want to impress someone, go to NYY and ask for Manny.
The Fam went on Labor Day , was raining, I checked in advance , then decide to book a reservation, I didn’t want to stay with the humidity and I figured the game will be delayed, the atmosphere is lovely and quiet, service was quick and fast, wasn’t crowded at the restaurant that day, the food is delicious, my 3 yr old made noise but we didn’t sit next to any one to disturbed them.
Always wanted to eat here and glad I took the opportunity to do it. Great service and food.
Service was amazing and food impeccable!
Food & Service were excellent! Staff arranged for a delightful birthday celebration.
Excellent meal. Oysters-Chops - desert everything was perfect. Our reservation was the last one almost closing and we still were treated better than expected. No rush. Outstanding Service.
As always for was delicious. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for
We arrived approximately 40 minutes late due to Friday afternoon traffic on the Cross Bronx. We called beforehand to advise that we were running late. The receptionist said that they would hold the table as long as they could. We did not expect restaurant to hold the table that long. When we checked in at 5:40, they said we could have a table at 5:45 pm if someone was a no-show. At 5:45 we asked for a table and got one quickly.
Now, the game was scheduled to start at 7:05 pm. We figured would be watching some of the game as we ate. We were out by 6:40 and did not feel rushed. We were at our seats by the national anthem.
Best steak ever. Service was fantastic. Great for after the game.
Always outstanding food and service. Our server Annabelle was very efficient and pleasant. Seafood tower amazing.
Very competitive to other major steak houses in NYC. Love the atmosphere. Like the fact that side dishes are larger now in comparison to past visits.
NYY Steak should have their own entrance same as the Hard Rock. I had a 11am reservation and had to stand in the gate 6 line for 30 minutes.
This was the third day we have eaten here after the Yankees game. We had a very attentive waiter, Manny. He was always there if we needed something. We had our food quickly, our water and ice teas were filled without having to ask. I highly recommend The Yankee Steakhouse
The steak was a little over cooked than the medium well we anticipated. Still delicious just more than expected
As Always, the steaks were cooked to perfection and the staff very friendly.
The Steaks always tastes better when the Yankees win.
The experience was awesome
Left without ever getting our food
Service was disappointing— wanted to give the restaurant a second chance as we go to a lot of Yankee games and wanted a nice relaxing dinner (not ballpark food)
Unfortunately we will never go back
The service was impecable. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The shrimp cocktail is always a favorite, but the Yankeetinin's are a home run. We are sure to visit again. GO YANKEES!
Food was just ok for a restaurant with such good, prior recommendations. We waited extremely and overly long for all our meals. The noise level was “over the top” loud- noise defining. There was a large group of people who were extremely annoying and bothersome right in front of our table speaking loudly and shouting. I brought this to the attention of the waitress and manager and yes, as I was told by the manager who working “This is Yankee Stadium you know” which I agreed. I also thought was very condescending and improper to tell a customer who paying for an Special Occasion-Birthday celebration at a restaurant at a such a revered venue. He could have gone over and asked them to move kindly to another side of the bar and not to be hanging over our table shouting.
Overall this dining experience was not a successful and pleasurable night out which was totally agreed upon by our group.
Is a credit or monetary reimbursement is in order here of some kind, yes, I most definitely agree something should be extended to myself and my family. And yes, we are all huge Yankee fans also. And that is my honest feedback! Advise accordingly.
Pros: good food, good service, stand up management
Cons: had to wait almost 10 minutes to be seated despite reservations on open table. The food took a while, but the restaurant was almost to capacity. There was an issue with the food preparation but the service staff and management handled it quickly and appropriately. They made the experience go from subpar to very good.
We had a reservation for lunch, we arrived at noon, we were promptly seated. That process went smoothly, the table met our expectations, we anticipated a positive lunch experience. We requested the sandwich menu from the hostess (the sandwich menu is not included with the full menu which the customer is given when seated) and she gave it to us. At 12:10 PM we placed our sandwich orders with our server ( (2) hot chicken sandwiches, (1) lobster roll, (1) burger, all with fries, standard from the menu, no special requests). At 12:50 PM our lunches finally arrived (15 minutes before game time) and the chicken and burger sandwiches were cold, had been sitting a long time, only the fries were warm. During the delay we noticed that other tables which had been seated long after us, received their food also from the sandwich menu, before we did! Since the game was about to start we ate quickly, very disappointed, but did not complain to the server as we had no time to wait. When she brought the check, we paid the bill, we expressed our disappointment with the meal. She came back with our change and said the chef offered us a free dessert... we had no time for dessert, the game had started! We left the NYY Steak feeling very let down. Based on this experience I would not recommend NYY Steak -Yankee Stadium to anyone.
The primary selling point to NYY Steakhouse is it is better than almost all the other options available in or near the Stadium on game day. If it was a free standing restaurant in Manhattan it would definitely have to "up its game" to survive. The service is average at best and this is based on multiple visits to NYY Steakhouse over multiple years. A troubling situation this visit was that there was no reference to the existence of a lunch menu option either by the wait staff or via a printed menu. If I was not a "veteran" of this restaurant I would not have known of it as an option to the higher priced dinner menu that was provided for our review. Also the almost one hour to deliver a very average hamburger positioned us to be late for the start of the game. The staff at the front desk had an attitude prevalent around Yankee Stadium of a priority to keep to policy over providing sensible customer service. It will take too long to fully explain the lack of basic common sense demonstrated by the staff but you will get a sense when I say that we had a handicapped person who was using a cane to support himself and we could not sit at our table for a couple of minutes until the third person in our party arrived. This was on a day when the restaurant was at most 60% filled and by the time we left probably less than 25% filled.
Great Service... Great food !!!!
A great way to start the Yankees game experience.
Food was good but overpriced (to be expected since beer at Yankee Stadium is way over priced)
Most disappointing was the service. Servive was slow, and wrong (eg asked for a drink up, showed up on the rocks and then took 15 minutes to correct). Waiters were inattentive.
Reflects very poorly on the pinstripes. Up your game.
We have been dining at NYY at the Stadium for a few years now. The entire experience has steadily declined. These last 2 visits (July and Aug) were evidence that something has changed and the establishment is obviously hitting rock bottom now. We are never going back.
Shockers: 1) at 7:15pm they were out of NY Strip Steaks and the Burratta appetizer (we sat down at 630pm) 2) the kitchen was obviously in chaos if our appetizers took 30 minutes to come out and our entrees another half hour or more 3) there was no shortage of staff running around doing seemingly nothing but running around like chickens without heads 4) our server was herself shocked at the delays from the kitchen 5) two different people delivered our meals - neither one had a clue who ordered what 6) after 3 of 4 entrees came out, the 4th (raw oysters) came out when everyone else was 1/2 way through their steaks 7) the host/hostess staff were not friendly and seemed to be more interested in bossing people around than being warm and welcoming 8) all of the above for a VERY high price. We decided that we have been idiots to spend this kind of money for the last couple of years - for a lousy time overall. We're done. Never again.
World Champion establishment
Awesome food.... Awesome Service... Awesome place to have a meal before or after a Yankee game.
Had dinner at 8:00 and finished in 45 minutes highly recommend eating after game starts filet mignon cooked perfectly lobster Mac and cheese excellent service was great
Cocktails made to perfection. Appetizers were incredible. Two of us split the signature 27oz ribeye and it was outstanding...worthy of the “27” championships it signifies. Our waiter Thomas took wonderful care of us. Can’t wait to go back to Yankee Stadium (and NYY Steak!).
The service was excellent and the food was good. NYC steak house prices but the quality was good.
Small portions. A real ripoff. A Lobels steak sandwich at The Jim Beam Suite is a better value. If you want to know how a REAL steak house operates visit the River Palm Terrace in Edgewater, NJ.
Great food. Great service. Great place to have a meal before a Yankee game.
As usual the food was excellent however was not as attentive as I have had. Many times when I needed something he was nowhere to be found
Our waiter, Curtis was very knowledgeable, courteous, intelligent and a gentleman. The food was very tasty! I had the 14oz ribeye and it was delicious. Although it wasn't like Peter Luger's it still tasty and filling. Great experience!
Great food excellent. Little pricey but good
The FL one was much better
Great food and service, reasonably priced as well. Have been there a few times.
Exceptional staff and delicious food! Pleasurable dining experience! Highly recommend!
Service was great. Steak was way over cooked. Ordered medium and got well done. Would not recommend eating an overpriced burnt steak.
