I ate at Sarabeth’s for brunch and had the quiche and a latte. The quiche was delicious and came with a nice, light salad. We had a nice booth next to the bright window and the service was excellent. Highly recommend if you want a great place for breakfast/brunch, especially on an weekday. Good for casual personal or business meal, too.
Oscar the bartender is a gem. Order a Glenn Coco: it’s his favourite drink to make, and it’s delicious. A quaint spot, atmosphere is cozy and eclectic.
What prevents me from giving an overall 5 is the waiter. He was extremely rude and kept telling us he would be back and then never coming back. I asked him a question about their selection of pastries and he could not answer me when asked whether they have scones or muffins. I had to resort to asking the woman standing at the entrance who was very nice and informative. The waiter would not clear the table as we finished a course. He just made us all (all of us locals in the neighborhood) to hesitate coming back and if we were to recommend Sarabeth’s it would be with a large caveat.
