First time visiting Galu, at short notice had to increase the table size, the staff were brilliant in accommodating our extra guests. Decor and vibe of the restaurant were first class, food was incredible and staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend.

Came for a meal for my 30th birthday, food was outstanding. Service was a little slow to start, we didn't get any starters until we'd been there 1.5 hours (we didn't order right away but it was 45mins or so from ordering) but once that happened everything moved quickly from then onwards. Staff were so friendly and when I couldn't decide on my main the waiter recommended the gnocchi, wow it was stunning, I am glad I listened to him! Live music from Wayne Woodward was also amazing and they all sang happy birthday to me and brought out my cake and genuinely seemed to care that I had a good time. Staff were constantly checking we had enough drinks and were very diligent when clearing empty glasses away. Their own beer was delicious so I'm told and the montepulciano was divine! Everyone had a fantastic night and we will definitely return.
