Platinum Service restaurant! Very impressed with the experience. The food was fantastic, lots of flavour. Great atmosphere.

First time to come to the white heart, good parking, nice atmosphere. Menu changed from on line menu but I was ok with it. Had the chicken wings which were fantastic, cured salmon also good. Shared a chateaubriand rare. Looked great, sauces were just a small pot of pepper an a small pot of bearnaise. Had to ask for more but was no problem, the chateau was a push towards mr by the time we got it a could have done with more seasoning as no seasoning on table to add ( didn’t ask in fairness as I am sure they have!) Having said that it was still a great meal. Highly recommended

Excellent service, great experience during pur anniversary lunch!

The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
