Nice atmosphere, extensive menu, polite and efficient service, good sized and tasty Sunday roast. Very enjoyable!

Lovely meal in a lovely setting. Great quality food. Chased out at closing time which was a shame and noise from a disco was very loud making it difficult to communicate at times.

Not sure why you’re doing this, when L’Ortolan closed permanently the day after we were there!! Everything about our dining experience was very good., as it always has been. The only criticism is that the bar was a mess with far too many dirty glasses and empty bottles on it.

A nice pub with good food. There seemed to be a lack of staff for the service so things were not top notch. The food could have been amazing but the main course was let down by slightly overcooked fish and the fish had no flavor at all which let me very disappointed. I must say the starter and dessert were fantastic and the accompaniments to the fish were really great but as the fish was meant to be the star it was a let down. They did give our two soft drinks for free but really if a restaurant is trying to be a gastro pub they need to tick all the boxes. I would go back just to see if it was an off day but I have heard similar things from other people
