We are a bit biased because Burro is in our little village, but we absolutely love it! The food is always fantastic and last night was no exception. Perfect gamberoni pizza to share to start then we both had ravioli (one lamb, one lobster). We love all the staff - last night it was Luca, Federica and Valentino looking after us. We are always made so welcome. It’s so nice to see the place full and buzzing!

Beautiful venue and stunning surroundings. Wonderful welcome and shown to our table. It was upstairs and I feel it was a bit less busy and noisy upstairs. Very polite and attentive staff. Gorgeous food very nicely presented, flat Iron streak was served just right rare/medium perfect. A lovely surprise at the end of our meal a dessert with a candle as we were celebrating a Wedding Anniversary. The toilets are gorgeous. Well worth a visit we will definitely be going again. Lovely food and a wide choice for all food types. [Vegetarian etc] Attentive staff and presence of manager ensured a great experience. Just a little slow to get the first drinks order taken but not an issue. Already booked to return. The Chorizo is the best I have ever had and the mixed grill was so tender.

Excellent welcome, shown to our seats and asked if we had visited before, we have so they could explain the menu to us. Ordered drinks and asked if we were celebrating anything. At which point we were served with our drinks and the food order taken We went for the premium banquet Each course and dish was described when delivered to our table. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Drinker were frequently topped up. I don’t like fish, however I have never tasted fish like this. It was beautiful in flavor and cooked to perfection. The desert was indulgent and fresh at the same time. Espresso martinis to end with which were as good as any I’ve had before. All the staff were superb, helpful, not over bearing and friendly.

I always find the restaurant service and ambience to be great. The decor is classy and beautiful from the eating areas to the washrooms, there is feel of old fashioned luxury which makes a visit special. Sadly, the food doesn't always measure up which can be disappointing. The calamari from the set menu was quite chewy and the slaw overly sauced. That said the thai styled beef with jasmine rice was tasty. Fortunately for me, the company of my friend was what I was there for. If you want to visit a beautiful venue absolutely go it's amazing but I would class the food as average.
