We were there for our anniversary. The staff acknowledged the event. Our server was awesome; the food was great, the wine heavenly. There is a reason we go there for every special occasion.

The hangar steak was marvelous. Seasoned, charred, and cooked to perfection. And don’t miss the shrimp cigars!

We went for brunch on Father’s Day. We arrived a little late for our reservation, but were happily seated. Our server was very kind & helpful. We started with beignets as an appetizer, they were delicious! All of our meals with outstanding. Large portions, fresh fruit, excellent coffee. My daughter had the biscuits & gravy, she raved about how delicious it was. We will definitely go back if ever in Orange again.

What a hidden gem this is! I traveled with two friends an hour from Fredericksburg to this lovely 1700s estate. One of the owners happened to be outside when we parked and he led us to the front door, telling us the restaurant was inside and to the right. As soon as we stepped inside, we were transported into a beautiful piece of history. The dining room was so cozy! We were warmly welcomed by our server and made to feel more like friends of the family than normal diners. Brunch was delicious! Among us we had the delicious fruit bowl, perfect eggs benedict, fluffy french toast with fresh whipped cream and Vermont maple syrup, and a yummy omelette with sourdough toast and fabulous raspberry jam. There was not a crumb left on any of our plates! We had such a nice time that we didn’t want to leave. Our server was so hospitable, she welcomed us to explore the property after our brunch. As we departed, we promised to return. And that is a promise we will keep!
