Little Falls, New York Restaurants

Nate our server was fantastic . Explained the specials and the menu . He was very knowledgeable about the drinks too . We had the Easter Brunch omelette with Boursin cheese , potatoes , toast , mimosas. Everything was very good

Loved the atmosphere, so fun:). Restaurant is huge, but still feels warm & welcoming. Food was great & service was as well.

Always lives up to high expectations; never a wonder why Nostro is in our rotation.

Ordered the beef tenderloin. Overall, it was "ok". I would probably order it again. But the the mashed potatoes were almost as if they just came out of the refrigerator. Even the plate was cold. I was also hoping it would be a nice dinner where we could have conversation. Well, we were able to talk. But it was more of a yell. It was very loud. For the price, I don't know if I would go back just to get cold food again. It wasn't a terrible experience. Just a let down as I was really looking forward to a good dinner/evening.

We really enjoyed our meals at Canal Side Inn. The food was excellent! Could not have been better. From interesting and fresh soup and salad choices, to well prepared and presented main courses and desserts, everything was great. The atmosphere is like taking a step back in time, with wood paneling and even a full phone booth outside the bar area. The music, tunes I remembered hearing at my grandparent's house, complemented the environment nicely. Tables were beautifully set and the service pleasant and attentive. The only thing that was a slight negative, and due to the age and location of the space, was a musty smell initially upon entering. A little bit like a grandparent's house, too! :) In no way did that impact the overall experience for us, and we will definitely be back.
