Biddenham Restaurants

I thought the menu looked nice but I wasn't expecting it to be quite as good as it was. Nice, concise menu and everything was delicious. The haddock and chips was the best fish & chips I have had in years - tasted like the oil was really clean and everything was absolutely greaseless. I also think you can really tell how much care a place puts into things by how good a side salad is, and the little gem salad was just superb: very lightly dressed, incredibly fresh, crisp, properly washed leaves and a bit of tang from some pickled red onion. The only element that wasn't absolutely perfect was the choux bun on the assiette of desserts, which was a little thick. Great service, lovely room. Brilliant.

We did not want a heavy meal and we enjoyed our choices very much. The'dessert/cheese + coffee smidgeon' is a very good offering. Thank you also for ringing me about the jacket I'd left - I hadn't noticed the lapse - and was happy to pick it up, I think it was Mandy who retrieved it so thanks to her too. See you soon.
