Lynn Restaurants

Situated 10 miles north of Boston, Lynn is a dynamic city with a diverse population. Since it's located so close to the Atlantic coast, fresh seafood is available at most restaurants. A New England tradition is clam chowder, locally pronounced "chow-dah." This stew, made with hard shell clams, potatoes, bacon or salt pork and milk or cream, is served at many area restaurants. Lynn is near Boston's North End, and the Italian food is superb, especially the pizza made with mozzarella, Romano and marinara sauce. Try it Italian-style with sausage, peppers or meatballs. Southeast Asian food continues to be popular in Lynn, especially spicy Thai dishes. Curries created with vegetables, meat or seafood and with coconut milk may be sweet and tangy or spicy when made with chili peppers.
