As always, an absolutely delightful experience for Father's Day. The food was fresh and delicious (I recommend the artichoke salad, yum!). The steak was tender, and though our service was amazing and brought me a steak knife it was tender enough to cut with a butter knife. The staff is always crips, polished as well as warm and friendly! Absolutely would recommend for any Holiday, or even just for a Wednesday night to hear the Jazz and sip a cocktail.

We really enjoyed Slahal. Sam, our server was extremely good and attentive. We always receive great service at Slahal. My husband loves the steak at. I love the delicious Ceasar salad. It is uniquely made. They also have a wonderful butter for the bread service.

I have been disappointed with restaurant choices downtown Puyallup and was researching and found Perry’s and check their menu and they looked good. Their menu might seem on the smaller side but it checks a lot of boxes and mine was the Halibut and Chips and the Wedge Salad. My cousin and I split the salad which was excellent.. fresh lettuce and great additives and dressing. We both ordered the Halibut and Chips, excellent choice on our part. Four nice sized pieces of halibut and nice firm, great firm, tasty pieces of fish! We both asked for a second serving of their tartar sauce, very nice. Fries were the skinny kind I prefer and were very fresh! As for the prices, in my opinion very reasonable. The Halibut & Chips are almost $10 less than Anthony’s in Tacoma and you get 4 pieces of fish instead of 3. And the Wedge salad at $16 split between two people makes it a side salad for $8 a piece, totally good price for the salad we each had. About the wait staff, our waiter was totally attentive and personal. For me, trying this restaurant was a great find and I will return.

We had the Chinese appetizer sampler, the Singapore noodles and the special fried rice. All were excellent. The entrees were easily large enough to split for two, but we ate almost all of it anyway.
