    We came in on a quiet evening for a “ girls catch-up “ and although placed inside, upon request they set us up with heaters outside ( leaving the romantic setting for the couples to enjoy without us blabbing away). The staff is just so wonderful and we didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed a fantastic meal. Left us feeling like it was a special occasion when we just went because no one felt like cooking!

    All the staff were attentive and informative. Food was out of this world delicious! I especially appreciated that the menu pricing, while seemed steep, guarantees a living wage and benefits for staff by eliminating the uncertainty of individual tipping. The service reflects that commitment.

    We had a very enjoyable dinner here tonight. We both ordered veal dishes. They were both way better than those from Italian restaurants we normally frequent in Marin and Sonoma counties. We shared a great bottle of Lola pinot noir. Service was very good. Can't think of more compliments to add. We will be back next time we're in Calistoga.

    Food here is fresh and delicious and nicely presented. The menu has a lot of options - I had a hard time deciding what to get, there were so many meals that sounded good. Service was spot on. The ambiance is great - a spacious dining room with a fireplace and high ceilings with plenty of room in between the tables. It feels like a resort, which it is. Highly recommended.
