We always enjoy the food and drinks at La Palapa Too--very nice staff. Enjoy the patio when the weather permits.

We've been to Galliano several times, but this was our first visit in about a year. Galliano is a neighborhood gem but I wouldn't consider it a "destination restaurant". The restaurant is physically attractive with very comfortable indoor seating (including a few booths) and a humming bar with multiple flat-screen TVs. The patio out front curls around the side of the restaurant--so there is ample outdoor seating--with each table having a dedicated umbrella. The jazzy and standards music can be heard indoors and outdoors (the patio has its own speakers). The weather was really nice so the restaurant had the "indoor-outdoor" setup in place for the dining room. They were reasonably busy for an early Wednesday evening but we were seated promptly. Our server, Carlos, was really special. He had a great sense of humor, was very attentive during the entire meal, and accommodated our occasional "reminder requests" with good cheer. The bar provides very generous pours, always a plus. Our martinis came with blue cheese olives (the best!) that were obviously stuffed in house. One of our party ordered the meatball appetizer, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Nice presentation: three healthy meatballs on a bed of light marinara sauce, topped with fresh Parmesan and herbs, served with warm baguette toasts. For entrées, my wife and I enjoyed entrée salads topped with grilled salmon. The salmon was perfectly cooked; the vinaigrette dressings were a little bland due to the high EVOO : vinegar ratio. One friend ordered the chicken marsala, which she liked a lot, leaving some serious leftovers that she planned to hand off to your college-aged son for finishing the job. Our other friend ordered one of the specials: a big seafood medley that included a nice-sized lobster tail, shrimp, and clams (there may have been more) over pasta in a pomodoro sauce. He loved it. Overall our experience was delightful. Galliano is a fine member of the Maple Lawn restaurant community.

The food and service was great. The portions explained the cost associated with the food. Very friendly staff, gave great suggestions. Deli and bakery are awesome.

Service was great, our waitress’ name is Breana. She was perfect. Our food was perfect. Restaurant and restrooms were clean.
