Everything was just so perfect. Mon Ami never disappoints. Consistently delicious. The servers are friendly and helpful. They all still wear masks so you feel very taken care of. We were there for restaurant week and couldn’t even eat 1/2 of our entree, there was so much food! The bread and butter is a delight also. Normally don’t indulge but have to when I’m there.

Went during restaurant week, great overall. My only gripe would be that we were sat incredibly close to two other parties on either side of us, which made it loud and a little distracting. But otherwise couldn’t recommend more!

I made the reservation to try a restaurant week menu for brunch. We had a 2 o’clock reservation and I double checked that brunch was until two. When we got there we were told the last seating for brunch is 1:45, but it was not anywhere on the restaurant week information. We were told we had to get the dinner menu. When I asked for the restaurant week, dinner menu that doesn’t start until 4:00 So it should be more published that between 1:45 and 4:00 you order off the regular menu. it was hard to see brunch items still coming out of the kitchen at 3 o’clock. And the host in the front was rude about letting us know. An “I’m sorry it’s no longer available after 1:45” Would’ve been much nicer than the snappish reply.

Took my friend there for the first time and he was taken back by the quality of service, the ambiance of the restaurant but mostly the delicious food served. Overall great experience, that he will not tell his friends and family.

We were really grateful Mon Ami Gabi could accommodate our reservation early. Today we were celebrating birthday and mentioned it when making the reservation (as it asks what was the occasion) and at the restaurant, but no effort was made by the restaurant to acknowledge the occasion in any way. Why bother asking? Really disappointed by this. As always, the food was delectable and the service impeccable. We would consider returning during a quieter time of the day, but will take our special occasions elsewhere.

Wonderful classic bistro food presented by attentive staff. White table cloths, dark woodwork and leaded class windows overlooking the park creates a lovely setting. Service was excellent and we were able to linger. A shared fish platter as an appetizer with old fashion cocktails and bread started the mealWe enjoyed the hanger steak with French Fries and fresh green beans accompanied by a great Bordeaux wine. We finished with Creme Brûlée. A perfect meal.

I highly recommend Mon Ami Gabi- Bread was fantastic- hard crust, warm soft center - amazing butter (don't eat too much- guilty here). French Onion soup - perfect - not salty at all, actually slightly sweet, possibly best ever. Had Filet with the W/Bordelaise cooked perfect med/rare, served with french fries that were out of this world, especially mixed in the bordelaise, Wife had the beef wellington which was outstanding also- finished with creme brulee and for a special b-day treat my wife received a nice scoop of ice cream with hot fudge that was amazing- Service was perfect not too much yet every need was met. I would call this evening as close to perfection as you can expect - Thank you Mon Ami Gabi for a wonderful evening.

One of our all time favorite restaurants for over 20 years. Steak Frites, oysters, mussels, and of course the profiteroles for dessert are must haves. Worth the drive in from the 'burbs.

Felt rushed like we only had a two hour time slot to dine. Cramped space overall. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a waiter takes the completed check off our table before we leave, as was the case here. And are we over this 3% surcharge yet??? Food quality was good. Wait staff was way too busy pouring water, removing plates and silverware . It made for a very rushed evening out.

Food was excellent. Even better than usual on my most recent (steak was beatifully cooked). I wish they didn’t squeeze the tables so close together but I get that it’s part of the business (and usually they do accommodate a request for a 4 top, it was just very crowded last night) Highly recommend.
