As the first East Coast location of Vancouver based ABURI Restaurants, Miku Toronto is proud to bring Aburi cuisine to Toronto's waterfront.

We specialize in innovative Aburi Sushi and seafood. Combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavours with fresh, local ingredients, our highly skilled chefs pair each morsel of sushi with a unique house made sauce in order to bring out the rich flavour profile of the fish, and then seal the flavours with a binchotan (oak charcoal)- accompanied flame sear. The result is the secret to Miku's success: sushi with a smoky aroma, umami flavour, and decadent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

We also offer a variety of seafood entrées, appetizers, as well as seafood platters.

    Hi there. I've ordered winterlicious lunch. I've chosen the set of sashimi, sushi and pana cotta for dessert. Sashimi was ok. But the set of sushi, not so much. Too much rice, in my opinion. The panna cotta was amazing. Our waiters tried their best, and they were great, but I didn't like the main dish. I don't think I will be coming back for more.

    Winterlicous menu is $75 for dinner. At this cost, was hoping not to leave hungry. The portions were smaller than they were a few years ago when they were priced at. $55.

    One of the best Japanese experiences in Toronto!!! We came to the spot to check out Winterlicious, and it was one of the best experiences with Japanese food in Toronto. Here are some highlights: FOOD, of course: The food was incredible. We started with a chef-selection sushi and sashimi plate with fresh fish and incredibly balanced condiments. In particular, you will be in awe at the number of flavours and textures balancing each other in a subtle yet noticeable way—a highlight of the evening. We continued to the steak, paired with beets, wasabi pickle, and some wilted greens. The steak was good. However, I found it to be a bit overcooked for medium rare, and it was more aligned with medium well. But I wonder if this was just an error. My partner had it well done and says it was memorable. For dessert, I had an Amaretto Panna Cotta. It was more than you would expect, paired with some poached pear on top and a sesame cracker. I think this was the best dessert I've had in a while. DRINKS: We asked for a sake pairing with all of the courses. Starting with a mild and unassuming sake, going to the more rice-pronounced drink, and finishing with sake from Kiyoto with some bitter aftertaste to break through the sweetness of desserts. The pairings worked excellently. SERVICE: We had excellent service at Miku. Everyone was incredibly attentive and explained each dish with knowledge and complexity to us. They also checked in thoroughly on allergies to ensure we had the best experience possible. Overall, the service was outstanding. ATMO: The place is nice, but at the same time, I thought the tableware was not the most upscale variety. Also, the paintings on the wall were beautiful, but it was apparent there was not a massive investment in them. All in all, it was good. I strongly recommend Miku! Check it out!

    Beautiful wallpaper and decoration in the restaurant that is a combination of Japanese culture and contemporary design. Food are always premium and fresh, the presentation is also superior.

    Went here for winterlicious 2023 dinner menu and left feeling pretty disappointed with the portion sizes and value. We wouldve been better off ordering off the regular menu. Food overall was great, however portion sizes were tiny and we didn’t feel full after leaving (we are both small women). Also, didn’t realize Miku had such corporate vibe. Would be great for business trips but I’d suggest going to sister restaurant Minami instead for special occasion as the decor was pretty subpar. No complaints with the service.

    We went to Miku for the Winterlicious menu. The food quality was very high and excellent, but the portions were really skimpy. Even though it's a fixed price menu, it was still $75 per person and we shouldn't be hungry after. The staff does a good job of presenting the food and explaining the components of each dish. I know they were trying to provide efficient service with the large staff, but I felt rushed. People seem to come over 2 seconds after you've taken your last bite to whoosh your plate away. In one instance, my daughter beside me was still eating and the service person reached over in front of my daughter to grab my plate. I found that rude. Those things took away from the excellent food. It's too bad.

    Lovely restaurant and great sushi. We had wagyu starter to share followd by chef's selection. Great variety in the selection and tasty! They included a happy birthday message on our dessert plate too, which was a really nice touch. Will be back for the next special occasion!

    We had the tasting menu and few other entrees. However the server brought out the food all at once. The waitress was quite unfriendly and didn’t explain what each of the dishes on the tasting menu was. It was an unpleasant experience.

    We had such a wonderful experience dinning at Miku. Our server was great and so very knowledgeable about the food and how to accommodate with our vegetarian requests. The food was incredible. Highly recommend checking out Miku.

    the food was overall good. fish fresh, wagyu fresh. however, not sure why they sat us in some far away corner room, when the entire place was almost empty and available. it's overpriced for what you get (and I've had better food for better value other places). And I found the tipping chart a bit cheeky. They start off with 22% and go down to 18%, but really the service was about a 15% at best. Food came out wrong order, one of the servers didn't even know one of the items that came out and couldn't explain and took us about 15 mins to try and get attention to bring us the bill eventually.

    Servers were super friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. It was an overall fun and enjoyable experience and I’m really glad I went. It is a little pricey but definitely worth it for the experience that came with it.

    We went yesterday before the Disney lightbox show - Family of four, with two adult children. The food was stellar - lots of different flavours, great presentation, and the service was friendly, engaged and timely. This is highly recommended. We all agreed that this was the best Sushi we had ever had (and this isn't our first rodeo by a long shot).

    Although the staff were great, the food was disappointing especially the chef’s tasting menu for $45 CAD per person, For something selected by the chef, I expected fresh and well executed food which was not served. All the dishes were cold or barely warm by the time it arrived. I felt like I got last night’s leftovers. I have heard such great things and perhaps Covid has effected their supply and quality. I will not return nor recommend this place.
