Simply going here is like taking a step back in time into a nature retreat, and may be confused for a spa day, since it'll relax you so much. Forsthaus Telegraph is the perfect place to get away from it all, grab a bite to eat and then take a walk through its surrounding forest. You can start off with the marinated salmon tartar, followed by rabbit liver and green beans and end your meal with the chocolate mousse. Forsthaus Telegraph will certainly satisfy.

Eine Atmosphäre wie gemacht für die betont feine westfälische Küche mit der sich der Schlichte Hof zu einer der renommiertesten Adressen der Stadt entwickelt hat. Sowohl die erlesene Küche als auch das liebevoll gestaltete Ambiente des Schlichte Hofs sind Feinschmeckern aus nah und fern in den vergangenen Jahren keineswegs verborgen geblieben. Dabei genießen Liebhaber des Traditionsrestaurants dessen gute Küche auch in den eigenen vier Wänden. Der Catering-Service des Hauses bekocht und bewirtet private Gesellschaften auf Wunsch mit der ganzen Finesse und dem Können der Küchencrew des Schlichte Hofs.

With great attention to detail, star chef Christian Sturm-Willms combines Japanese elements with those of modern Mediterranean cuisine. The critic Gault Millau describes the dishes of Christian Sturm-Willms like a Japanese ink drawing, "which creates whole landscapes through a few clever brushstrokes.” The YUNICO has one of the most extensive sake selections in Germany as well as fine wines that complete the offer perfectly. The menu has 3-6-course meals on offer or you may dine à la carte.
With a new interior design and the large rooftop terrace overlooking the Rhine valley, the YUNICO offers an exclusive ambiance. For Christian Sturm-Willms and the restaurant manager Melanie Hetzel their work is their hobby and that's what makes every visit to the YUNICO a very special experience.
