Legendary Medium Rare offers a unique $32.95 prix fixe dinning experience of artisan bread; a mixed green salad; prime, dry-aged steak; and hand-cut fries (Vegetarian option always available) in a relaxed, fun, environment. Please allow us 15 minutes to seat you after your full party has arrived and after checkin at our host stand. As we do only one thing, we do our best to make the food and experience exceptional and also a good value. We also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday's with a great prix fixe including French Toast, Steak and Eggs, Eggs Benedict and bottomless Bloody Marys, Mimosas and Screwdrivers. WALK INS and CALL AHEAD seating are always welcomed.

It was great and the wait staff was amazing and super helpful. There was a crying child and so it was loud but that isn't their fault overall was a great experience for his 25th birthday.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few years now when we visit D.C. and as always we like to enjoy a nice family dinner and by far it’s one of the best experiences and best steak you can get around!

We are regulars who usually have a great time here, but this experience was not a usual one for us. It must have been homecoming and lots of kids took over the place, and they just weren’t prepared for the volume. This negatively impacted our service, food, and just overall experience.

We love coming to medium rare, however, we’ve been before and gotten 3 or 4 servings with no additional charge, however last night we were charged 11 dollars for a third portion and were unaware of this charge until the bill came out. This came as a bit of a shock to us and we would have liked to have been informed there would be an up charge at the time when we ordered, as we were not expecting it. I assume this is perhaps a weekend policy as we usually go on less busy week nights but would’ve been nice to know.

The staff were fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, responsive. The steak was excellent. So were the fries. Everything was perfectly executed. The inside is noisy, and we were a big group that likes to talk, so we sat outside and it was perfect. If you love steak frites, this place is really hard to beat.
