Matsuhisa is always consistently good. We had the shisito peppers and edamame to start, then miso cod lettuce wraps, and oyster shooters. All perfect. We ordered the Enringi mushroom salad, which was phenomenal, and then the sea bass with dried miso. Last we got the shaved ice and Bento box desserts. This is the perfect special occasion restaurant!

Food was excellent, as always! However, the service was not on point. A bit disappointing. Our server was super friendly but forgot a few items, even after requesting them more than once. Also we had to request to order additional items as he would stop us from ordering more than 3 or 4 items at a time! This was a little frustrating and time consuming as we were a party of 6.

This was one of, if not THE best meals I’ve ever had. Every bite was incredible! The service was fabulous. The ambience was great. I can’t wait to go back. A truly special restaurant. My three favorites of the night were the miso cod lettuce cups, the snapper, and the Aspen roll. Also, anything with yellowtail will melt in your mouth.

Food was great but service was absolutely awful. Our waiter was very rude and judgmental, received many passive aggressive comments and dirty looks from him. I received the wrong drink and had to flag down a busser to fix the mistake. He never brought it up or apologized. After I requested the correct drink that I ordered in the first place, it took quite some time to come out (I would have imagined something like that should be expedited.) When I asked him if it was coming out anytime soon he cut me off mid sentence and aggressively let me know that he would bring it out as soon as it was ready. He refused to put in our food in the order we wanted, insisted we had to follow some sort of “format” for ordering the food. He talked to us in a very condescending manner and made us feel like we didn’t belong. I was really looking forward to this experience. It had been planned for months and we ended up leaving about halfway through because we were so uncomfortable and couldn’t even enjoy the food. Incredibly disappointing.

The food was exquisite. Delicate, extremely fresh, complex and delicious. The service was attentive without hovering. The restaurant was quiet enough to have a conversation. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Denver that has never disappointed each time we've been.

We celebrated our daughters Sweet 16 and had an amazing time. Chadwick was superb and never missed a beat! It was our first time dinning here and the food was absolutely amazing! We had the pleasure of meeting the GM as well. A true gentleman. We were hoping to make our daughters night memorable and Matsuisha did just that!! We can’t wait to come back!!

Objectively some of the most overpriced and over-hyped sushi in Denver. You will find better flavors at Temaki Den and Sushi Den. They also struggled to find a single bottle of Prosecco in the entire restaurant. I think we waited 20 minutes just for the bottle to arrive.

If you have your favorites from the Nobu menu, many are offered on this menu as well. Ate at the sushi bar. Amazing service, phenomenal food, and the ever-tasty lychee martini!

I was there last week on a Thursday with a party of 5 and the experience was wonderful. Two in our group did the Chef’s choice menu which is costly but worth the price. The presentation was so fun to watch. Sadly, the experience on Monday was drastically different. The service was slow and certain items ordered were never delivered yet they showed up on the bill. My assumption is the “A” team does not work on Mondays so may be best to only go Thursday-Saturday.

The food was amazing! Black truffle miso Sea bass.. speechless. Must try the toro Tatar with caviar. Oh, and the crispy rice and tuna, another must have. Overall the waiter was very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. Our #1 restaurant in Colorado.

Mark is an incredible sushi chef, not only is the food delicious but a piece of art. Sean, the sommelier, picked out the perfect bottle of wine to pair with our meal. Kim was an outstanding waitress, amazing energy and knowledge of cuisine! Amazing date night, thank you!
