   Waitress Andrea was outstanding. The hostess was incredibly rude, after we got our entrees, She told my daughter to move her seat as this was not a table for 6. Yeah we are a table of 5. This person should not be a hostess. Words like please and a brief explanation go a long way, especially when a table of 5 just got all their entrees. I have no idea what their problem was. It actually ruined our dinner. There was no need for it. We were not drinking, not rude, and had over a $200 tab.

   Good restaurant overall, food was good. Server, Anna, was awesome but the hostess was unfriendly and the brief interaction we had with Abby, a Manager, was bad. We waited for our food for about an hour on a bad weather Memorial Day weekend (it was rainy, high wind and very few people on the beach). Only state that since I would hate to see how the restaurant operates on a very busy day, restaurant was about 60% full with no waiting to get into the restaurant but it still took the kitchen over an hour to get our food out. Since they took so long to get the food out our son was starting to get restless and walked around, hence the brief interaction with the rude Abby, who informed us in a very rude way that he was in the way of their staff to get out of the kitchen. That message could have been delivered in a nice way but Abby is obviously not used to any type of business, hence I highly recommend that one only visit this establishment during extremely slow times otherwise you have been appropriately warned. :)

   This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The food is always fantastic and no matter what we order we are always impressed with our meal! Servers are great and can’t wait to return . Highly recommend.

   Enjoyed our dinner very much. Lasagna and the Veal Parm was very good (especially the in house moz). Service was superb. Noah was informative and very personable and helped make dinner special. They should be proud of this young man.

   This was our first time to Virginia Beach and Mannino’s. We absolutely loved the entire experience. Would highly recommend, and that’s coming from a picky eater. Loved the outside menu with QR Code for reservations.

    Run, don’t walk here! What a gem. The service was outstanding, the food was nothing short of phenomenal (and plentiful) and the prices were absolutely fair. I’m so glad I found this place and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

    The food, both Marsala dishes, were very good, but for the price, I felt that 2 sides would have made us like it even more. The asparagus was cooked perfectly (I don’t like my veggies mushy). The 1/2 price wine on Mondays was nice! The food took a long time to arrive, but we didn’t mind since we had read how customers are asked to be patient with the food prep. We didn’t mind; we had our wine;). Overall, we will return to try the tortellini dishes on our next visit.

    Too much sauce on entre. Side dish cold, partner's dish not hot. Parking $20.00. Web parking instructions confusing. Server was good. Noise level was acceptable. Good Italian restaurant should be much better.

    Homemade mozzarella which was fabulous on bruschetta. Happy hour drink menu until 6:30. The food arrived quickly and everyone’s dish was perfect. Nice portions and a large menu selection. Nightly specials also. The waiter was very attentive and the service was top notch. I will be visiting again soon

    Restaurant was a bit run down but the reviews were good so we gave it a try. 3 of the five entrees came out barely warm and the clam fettuccine caused the person who ordered it to wretch it smelled so strongly of bad fish. Terrible food & dining experience.

    This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Virginia Beach. The food is quite good. Enjoy the antipasto. The She Crab soup is excellent. I had the chicken pepperoni which was done just right. I won't speak for the rest of the family but we always enjoy our times here. Their Happy Hour is good (though it only lasts until 6:30PM). Monday night is half-price wine bottle night which gives us an opportunity to try wines we might not have otherwise tried. It goes without saying that we'll be back.

    Food was wonderful. Was served a bottle of wine which had gone bad. Spoke with the manager who stated their policy was not to offer refunds once the bottle was opened. Very disappointed!

    Very disappointing meal before the shamrock marathon. Lasagna (which was supposed to take longer) came out lukewarm. Chicken on the penne a la vodka came out unseasoned and tasteless. Meat added to a vegetarian’s dish. Just really unfortunate for a place we all had high hopes for. Will not be back.

    Mannino's is a happening place prior to the Shamrock Marathon and Half Marathon. The Tortellini Mannino's is the best Italian comfort food we have had in a while. The service is impressive as they kept up with the demand.

    The service was tactful and as efficient as can be. We got a solid hour of dining the night before the Shamrock 8K. We would definitely have their veal dishes again, and the bruschetta was surprisingly light and flavorful, even though it looked like a ton to eat. My wife got a PR in 8K, and I broke three hours in a marathon for the first time in 10 years. The food we ate at Mannino's definitely got us loaded beforehand. The next time we participate in the Shamrock running festival, we will definitely dine at Mannino's.

    Our 1st visit and everything was great. The sauce on the fried oysters was FANTASTIC. Our server, Anna, was as good as there is. She was very attentive to us, and she was professional and very personable. The veal was as good as any I've ever had. The drinks were a bit weak, but we didn't go there for the drinks.     This was our first time here. We got a gift card from a friend and we used it for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter was Dave and he was VERY helpful in choosing the right meals and wines. I would highly recommend asking for him to wait on you.

    We went for Valentine’s Day, which is apparently the only time they offer their lobster bisque. I went for she crab but had to get both, and both were delishh. There were lots of meat in both. 🦀🦞 We also had calamari to start, which was a pretty big portion for 2 people, so we took some home. For entrees, I ordered the pollo francese with baby artichokes and a side of asparagus, and I believe he ordered the veal parm with a side of spaghetti. Everything was good, including our server whose name I can’t remember. 😩 She was friendly and knowledgeable, though! I also didn’t feel like they overbooked for the night and had too much going on to help us, which is great and appreciated, especially in current times when lots of restaurants are understaffed and bite off more than they can chew at times. 😊

    Went for Valentine's Day with the wife. Service was excellent! Our waiter was funny, attentive, and knowledgeable...all while giving us our space for the evening. They also worked very well with us on my wife's (multiple) food allergies. Both our meals were great tasting, and with portions you would not complain about. We've been before and will be back again.     I went there for Valentine’s Day with the expectation of having a great evening and meal. That quickly came to an end starting as soon as I came through the door. It started with the hostess. This is a special day and supposed to be a nice restaurant but she was dressed like she worked at Doughboys Pizza or another fast food restaurant. She barely look up to greet us. She said hopefully you are ok with a high top table without even waiting for an answer. She informed us that tables were for reservations. I had a reservation. We were then greeted by Andra our server. She was great and took good care of us all night. She is the main reason for not giving this place one star. I have to say that the crab soup was very good. The Caesar salad was pretty much all butts and no green. I had the linguine and white clam and she’d had the veal picatta and it was just ok, not really great. We both had the dessert special which was basically horrid. It had a horrible aftertaste and very poor presentation. Overall, the restaurant itself had a musty smell and definitely needs a makeover. The only saving grace again was Andra. I definitely will not be back. I really wanted to like this place but this was just too much.

    The first visit was wonderful. This was off season, dont know if service and food would decline during those periods. It was the day before Valentines. Our food selections were delicious and large. Mixed drinks were good. Ask for Andrea the server. She was fantastic, very personable and effecient.     Loved the delicious food and service by “ Jesse” at Mannino’s Oceanfront in Virginia Beach! It was the best Italian meal we had since a restaurant in San Francisco in May, 1996! Everything was outstanding! Mondays are half price wine bottles and the “ house” Cabernet was silky smooth and perfect.
