As a single diner, I felt very comfortable with what can sometimes be an awkward experience. The service was attentive but unobtrusive and the food was excellent. The coconut and pistachio mousse was the best dessert I’ve ever had.

Lonesome Dove Western Bistro Austin is Chef Tim Love’s second location for his flagship restaurant. Open since 2015 it has become the go to place in Austin for wild game and creative dishes.

In order to serve all our guests in a timely manner, we ask that you arrive on time. A 15 minute grace period will be given to all tables. Unfortunately we are unable to seat partial parties.

The dining experience at Lonesome Dove was fantastic. The food was great, but the service was better. Our server, George, was very attentive and gave great recommendations. He did an amazing job explaining the menu. Matt, the GM, personally checked in with us to make sure everything was living up to the high standard that they set for themselves, both in menu and service. The menu was outstanding as well. It was great to have a variety of wild game options (cannot recommend the elk sliders and elk loin more!). In addition to their dinner menu, they also have very good cocktail/wine menus. The Willie is a delicious signature cocktail that has a unique presentation. Lonesome Dove is such a great place for a nice dinner that isn’t over the top expensive. Great staff, great food, can’t wait to go back. 10/10

Went here for a business dinner. The food was great. I really liked the bacon appetizer and the wagu short rib. It's a nice spot for smaller parties of 6 or fewer, I would say. Everything we ate was delicious. I would recommend this place.

Was a fun date night. Parking is difficult being Cambridge but it was totally worth it. Food was creative and delicious. And the noise level was nowhere near as loud as other places. Beautiful colors and decor, attention to detail, and a great spot.

Went for Valentine’s Day with my husband. They were offering a prix fixe menu. All of the courses we had were very good. I had soup for my starter and it was delicious. The chicken I had for my main dish was extremely tender and juicy. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was great. Desserts were unique and tasty. We got 4 cocktails and all were very good and fun. The service was excellent, our waitress was so nice and attentive. The waitress brought us a $25 off coupon for next time and a little box of macarons with the check. The restaurant itself was dark and it was a little hard to see the menu, and it was a bit loud but that isn’t surprising given that it was Valentine’s Day and the place was packed. I felt like the $100 per person for the prix fixe menu was maybe a little overpriced, but again, that’s to be expected for Valentine’s. Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back!

We came here for Valentines day, got the 4 course menu with the wine pairings. Best duck I have ever had!! The food was amazing! The vibes were awesome and the wait staff was amazing as well. Had so much knowledge and were so kind. This was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had. We will definitely be coming back.

Food was delicious, went for a birthday dinner and they surprised us with a tiramisu slice, a birthday card with one free drink coupon and a glass of Prosecco. The service was good, always checked on us to make sure we were doing ok. Pretty quiet atmosphere. Good place to take kids, they have a kids menu.

We enjoyed our special night out at Lonesome Dove. I had the elk which was very very good. Very tender for such a lean cut of meat. My wife had the trout which was a little under seasoned and had a few bones in it. The trio fettine was delicious a good way to try the different meats - portion was only that of a very light appetizer for 2. We thought the lobster hushpuppies were bready and not worth the price. For someone who really likes chocolate you must get the chocolate cake! Service was very attentive without being interruptive. We will return again for a special occasion.

Very pretty restaurant with delicious options for brunch. Make reservations ahead of time as this restaurant is very popular. We shared one order of benedict and an order of bunuelos, enjoyed some pressed juice, and coffee. That was the perfect amount for two people and the restaurant made it easy to share the dishes. Would definitely return to try more on the menu as everything around us looked so good!

We had a great experience here celebrating my uncle’s 70th birthday last night. Food was amazing very tasty, delicious and beautifully made. I’ve been to many fine dining in the past but this One is my favorite. The experience throughout the course was exquisite. The staff was incredible too and we had the best service. I would like to thank all the staff for accommodating my request from making my uncle a personalized birthday menu and seated us the best room in the house which we had to witness behind the scenes how they beautifully crafted each food they served to us it’s truly a work of art. We enjoyed dining here with my husband and my uncle it was one of the best experiences yet.

We have dined here several times. This particular evening we brought friends who had never dined here previously, specifically for their pizza. First, we waited 20 minutes and nobody waited on us. Once I found a Manager the service improved dramatically. Then we were told we could not order pizza. They ran out of dough. How does a pizza restaurant run out of dough? We were there at 8;00 pm. Fortunately, the entrees we ordered were excellent.

We had a great time! Noise level 3 out of 4 only because we were seated at the counter (and were therefore in the midst of all the culinary action). For single diners/couples, highly recommend counter seating - any more in your party, and you may have trouble interacting. Delicious food, warm service, lovely cocktails… can’t ask for more.

The La Petite Grocery name pays homage to the history of its home, a building that’s stood for more than a century. The original structure was built in the late 1800s and called the Central Tea, Coffee and Butter Depot. In 1908, a fire devastated the space and it was transformed into a full service grocery store. Later it was most notably a fine foods and butcher shop, VonderHaar’s Fine Foods until 1982. When La Petite Grocery opened in March of 2004, they similarly aspired to provide the neighborhood with exotic teas, locally roasted coffee, and fresh produce. By doing this, we hope to provide a dining experience that evokes nostalgia of old New Orleans. Reservations are preferred.

We went for my son's birthday before a lecture. They were great about making sure we made it out on time, but without rushing us. The food was phenomenal. Cocktail was delicious and my son't mocktails were tasty, too! We did the three course meal and everything was seasoned beautifully. They were even kind enough to hang on to our leftovers for us, so we didn't have to take them to the theater, as we were using public transportation. Highly recommended.

I loved the filet that I had. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. I also had the blue cheese bordelaise sauce. It was to die for. The waiter told us that it is a difficult sauce to make. That’s why we made reservations to enjoy a chef who can perfect it. Ps the table next to us had the tomahawk steak. Wow

It was an amazing dinner, absolutely delishous, served beautifully and it exceeded our expectations. Our waiter Sergey was cordial, polite, recommended the dishes in accordance with our requests, and hr was just simply a pleasure to be around. The host, Fabian, showed us great hospitality, warmth and made us feel as the only guests of the restaurant. We are so sorry that we could not attend the brunch the next day due to the time constraints as it would be another fabulous and unforgettable meal. Our desserts were served a mini works of art, and each bite was simply delectable!!@

My husband and I went to Alta Strada for dinner before a show at the Capital One Arena. It was amazing. Their staff and team were so sweet and so much fun. They are clearly very passionate about customer service and their food! We loved our entire experience and already decided to make that our go to spot before shows!!

From the time we came to the door we were welcomed in by friendly staff. This was our first time dinning at Catch and we diffently will come back. The meals were amazing. We had the firecracker shrimp, the bass and the crab cakes dinner. So very good! Our servers were very attentive. This was a very enjoyable dinner. Noise level a little loud but understandable this was a Wednesday evening and restaurant was full. Very popular place so make a reservation.
