We had some trouble finding it, as the only indicator of the restaurant was a red lantern in front of some white sliding doors. no sign or anything of the sort. but once we got in we were thoroughly impressed. The food was incredible, the servers were wonderful, and the atmosphere was very cool but a bit loud for us as a family and a kid with sensory issues (should have brought headphones). Also, some of the pictures on the wall weren’t very family friendly (a few nearly-naked anime women). Even still, it was the highlight of our trip to the gold coast by far. The tuna sashimi and the tenderloin were our favourites, with the mushrooms being a must-try, unique dish. Thank you all so much for having us!!

I brought my parents to the Green Zebra to have a celebratory lunch for my 40th birthday with them. The food was fantastic, with my parents commenting the salad was easily one of the best they have ever had, the drinks mixed perfectly and impeccable service. They are talking about bringing my brother and family to the restaurant on their next visit!

Always a treat to step into the gently-lit basement ambience of this Melbourne icon. Barramundi was delicious and I wish I’d try something else other than the meatballs, but I seem unable to order anything else. They did did not disappoint yet again in all their melting glory! Great bottle of Aussie Sangiovese. Always enjoy the service and it will forever be my favourite CBD Italian restaurant.

A beautiful wholesome experience. Everyone had a job and they got it done. From the welcoming, to being seated, food and drinks arriving was seamless. Each dish was brought out by various kitchen staff and talked you through the dishes. Fergus made a excellent wine pairing for us, allowing it to be specialised and personalised from local wines to wines from around the world. It was amazing seeing the city view from the afternoon to sunset and then getting to enjoy a cocktail in the Lui Bar to finish off. A massive thanks to the whole team for an incredible experience. An experience that I hope to get to do again!
