We had read mixed reviews about this restaurant based on good food but poor service. This was not our experience. We arrived shortly after opening on a Tuesday night. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The tapas were interesting and excellent. By the time we left all the tables were filled, mostly by well heeled knowledgeable locals.

The food was great - my partner's Red Snapper main was slightly too spicy for her, but my lamb shank was incredible. The restaurant was very very quiet when we arrived (18:30 on a Saturday) but it started to busy up at 19:30-20:00. The staff were so polite and attentive. Our food turned up probably a bit too quick, but I think this was probably because it was so quiet, they could get the food out quick. Serving staff might want to be careful that customers don't feel rushed.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were made to feel welcome. We arrived an hour early as we were starving and asked could we be seated.. it was no problem at all. We were served by a wonderful lady called Bruna, who is such a friendly, helpful, courteous and professional person. The food was outstanding… really delicious and plenty of it. The vibe is so cool there. The staff seem to have such good fun working there. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

One of the best meals I've ever eaten... Came here for a birthday treat with my partner. Everything about the experience was perfect: from the hospitality at reception, the impeccable and friendly service in the bar and restaurant, to the food itself. It's not cheap (although the express menu is very good value) but represents good value for money in terms of the quantity and quality of the food. The steak and lobster were the highlights, but there's something mouth-watering on the menu for all appetites. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Overall this is a fantastic place to eat and the staff were lovely ,majority of the food was fantastic, the only issue was the menu we were sent was not the menu that was being served , the dishes were simplified which was a shame , the brown shrimp arancini sadly was very bland and looked like just rice but the rest of the food was beautifully cooked , well balanced , delicious and cooked extremely well so would definitely go back as apart from the arancini the food was stunning and every member of staff was attentive friendly and brilliant !

Wow is all I can say! The best dining experience I've had. We had the sharing Roast and everything was perfect from start to finish. The service from all the staff members was impeccable and I have nothing to fault. The food was incredible, cooked to perfection and we wasn't rushed. Every minor detail to taking our coats, to choosing our own meat knife was so memorable. For what we received, the prices were more than reasonable and I would recommend EVERYONE to visit Kyloes. Especially for their sharing Roast! Amazing. Thank you!

We had a fabulous lunch from the set lunch menu. From the minute we arrived the service was impeccable. The sommelier helped with our choice of wine and advised well. The waiter knew his stuff and was able to give details of every part of each dish we were considering. The little extras between courses were very tasty. It’s not cheap at Mere but you certainly get what you’re paying for. Didn’t see Monica but they did a nice candle and piped birthday wish for one of our party. Would highly recommend a visit to Mere.

We had a lovely lunch the food is really lovely. The jerseys royals were slightly undercooked but seasoned really well but all the other dishes were excellent. There were lots of extras mini cocktails, breads ,mini croquettes, sorbet and sweets . I was really impressed with the quality of the ingredients. It’s very good value for what you get , recommend.

Short a-la-carte menu and a four course set. A-la-carte is small sharing plates. We went for the set. Minestrone soup like you've never tasted, fresh and vibrant with raw courgette, homemade sun-dried cherry tomatoes, lots of fresh herbs. Skate wing en papilotte, but rather than steamed in paper, steamed in leaves served with cuttlefish popcorn. Slices of belly pork with a sweet red pepper sauce. Strawberries and custard, fine dining style. Ask for the 'other' wine list and don't be embarrassed to ask for help/recommendations. Very approachable, professional and knowledgeable staff, not at all stuffy. 'Service' is included in the item prices. They pay a proper wage rather than relying on customer tips. This attracts the best. Thanks guys.

We were so happy to be back at the Greyhound, as the last time we had a reservation we ended up with a flat tire and on run-flats, you have to BUY a new tire, so we missed our lunch. But dinner last night exceeded our expectations. The food was always good, but seems to have gotten better. All the amuses are a wonderful treat, especially the chocolates at the end of the meal. Quail was fabulous, Dorset crab was fabulous, and the sirloin absolutely delicious. They always have our favorite wine - "Follow the line" and at a reasonable price too. Staff seemed to be top notch. They were good before, but even better now. Very attentive, but not obtrusive. Except for the loud talking around us, there was a birthday party at one table, and a girls night out at another table, it was a wonderful experience. We want to go back when they have the fireplace lit!!! But highly recommend the restaurant!

Loved the menu and the dishes we chose - chalk stream trout sashimi, plaice and octopus were all cooked beautifully. The wine list was interesting and relatively unknown to us. We took guidance on our choice and thoroughly enjoyed the Viognier that was recommended.

We had a lovely dinner, food was excellent and the staff were so kind and helpful from the beginning! Stefano the waiter was amazing, our friends don't speak English and he translated and explained everything to us. I couldn't recommend this place enough, don't miss out on the cocktails at the Side Hustle bar.
