About the restaurant
21’s cooking is big on flavour and short on fuss. We’re talking about a style which embraces the seasons and where the ingredients are king. Expect to find stylish, imaginative dishes – which don’t pander to fads or fashion…………and still have room for pudding. Expect a warm welcome, generous hospitality and service that is both friendly and correct.

A city centre restaurant with a city centre buzz. In the heart of Newcastle's Quayside, 21 has an excitement and warmth all of its own. Smart but not stuffy, sleek but not pretentious, fun but not gimmicky - It's about eating good food in comfortably stylish surroundings.

Menus include Lunch and Early Evening Fixed Price, Five Course Seasonal and à la Carte.

Food was first class: inventive without being pretentious, with very good wine selection . Service couldn’t have been better. Overall atmosphere great - busy and buzzy but without being so loud as to interfere with conversation at the table.

The food was great - my partner's Red Snapper main was slightly too spicy for her, but my lamb shank was incredible. The restaurant was very very quiet when we arrived (18:30 on a Saturday) but it started to busy up at 19:30-20:00. The staff were so polite and attentive. Our food turned up probably a bit too quick, but I think this was probably because it was so quiet, they could get the food out quick. Serving staff might want to be careful that customers don't feel rushed.

Our first visit to Loxley’s for my husband’s birthday and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere whilst buzzing and vibrant was also chilled and intimate. The food was amazing, very tasty - I had the chickpea and carrot fritter and butternut squash risotto and the flavours were spot on, very flavourful. My husband had the scallops and duck and was also not disappointed. Thank you Loxley, I can’t fault anything with the evening. We’ll be visiting again.

About the restaurant
Our food is inspired by the fine local craft farmers, breweries and distillers that are buzzing with excitement in Scotland. Like these artisan producers, we carefully select combinations of local ingredients to create small batch dishes with bags of rich flavours. These invoke memories of past times and loved ones. Add to this our acutely developed appreciation of wines and spirits from further afield; and the idea was born of opening a place where locals and visitors alike could rendez-vous.

If you've never been to the Makars Mash Bar, you should, it's a uniquely warm and friendly atmosphere. Look at our reviews they say it all!

你好, welcome to the Mandarin!

Established in 1961, this traditional and authentic Cantonese restaurant in Blackpool town centre has been extending a warm oriental welcome to customers for 55 years!

Choose from a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes including Mrs Wan’s dumplings, made from her own recipe, Szechuan chilli beef, Nasi Goreng and oriental fruit salad with lychee. We are very proud that every dish and every sauce is made in house, because we care about our food.

About the restaurant
Portland opened in 2015 and received a Michelin star the same year - which we have retained to this day. We try to offer the best contemporary example of fine dining in London – the finest produce we can find cooked with precision and a high level of technique led by our executive chef Stuart Andrew and head chef Chris Bassett and his team.

We offer a la carte and also a Tasting Menu at lunch and dinner.

Wine is as important as food and service at Portland. Our main wine list aims to offer brilliant value on interesting, different wines which we hope you seldom see on restaurant wine lists. Our Single Bottle List contains bins of some of the world’s finest wines and also more accessible offerings from our favourite producers.

Apart from the main restaurant, we hope that our private room and its offer of secluded and separate dining is just the thing for special family events or business meetings.

About the restaurant
At Restaurant Story the premise is simple; we seek to tell our story through the food we serve.

We opened in April 2013 gaining our first Michelin star only five months after opening and in 2021 we were awarded our second Michelin star. Finally in 2023 we launched Story 3.0 hosting a 2nd floor.

Inspired by chef Tom Sellers’ culinary career and the history of British food, our dishes are an edible story, each one inspired by a memory. We want to share these memories with you through what you see, smell and taste.

To help achieve this, we select only the freshest seasonal British produce and then pair it with an exclusive wine list featuring small wine producers and select British craft ales sourced locally.

An excellent experience. Much attention to detail and excellent food selection. I’d recommend really listening to the question ‘do you have any preference?’, as that will likely influence your enjoyment. Your preferred temperature of red meat is a factor, for example. Overall, having some experience in fine dining will be a plus, but not strictly necessary. If you’re looking for a bargain, this is likely not the place for you. Price is steep, but worth it for the serious foodie. Remember to have fun and enjoy this unique experience. Cheers to the staff, especially Ollie. I definitely would return at the first opportunity.

Food good especially the starters. Least favourite was the beef bavette cut- especially as you no longer order separate sides with the lunch menu - didn’t feel the pasta with pesto was the ideal accompaniment. As always it stays our regular treat.

About the restaurant
The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

The experience was nothing less than gastronomical bliss. From the moment we entered, the experience was nothing less than a 5 star experience. Each dish was served with such precision that it gave each masterpiece its own platform to stand out. While not everything was something that I’d ever consider eating outside of this experience, it was so masterfully crafted, that I didn’t want to feel left out. The Chef visited out table to put the finishing touches on one of the final courses only to further elevate our experience. Lastly, the chef noted that they are growing their own mushrooms to elevate the experience to a more sustainable food source without one element of culinary compromise. I had to see this for myself. This is certainly an experience to remember.
