Amazing food & service! Oysters Texafeller are incredible! I had the Pecan crusted redfish it was delicious. I recommend the Plum Crazy cocktail or their old fashioned they are perfect! We took the last reservation of the night because of our schedules but in no way did we ever feel rushed actually the opposite they gave us all the time in the world to enjoy ourselves! It was our first experience, overall it was nice. The first three courses were beyond expectation. Every bite was to remembered. The four course was above mediocre. Something you could probably find at a non- fine dining restaurant. I'd give it a 4.5 star. One other minus was the table next to us was obnoxious, the lady was probably having way too many glasses of wine or she was thinking this was a bar. I'd give this another try, hopefully they will change up their menu seasonally.

We used to come for the view, which is the best in the city! Now, we come for the food and no longer worry about the view. Le Colonial has the benefit of a 5 Star "starting point" simply because it is my wife's favorite restaurant in Chicago. To qualify this, my wife has excellent taste, so, you could argue that my 5 Star proclivity is warranted..... I always love Uchiko. The food is always amazing. My only complaint- I had specifically mentioned that we were celebrating my son’s birthday and they never acknowledged it. Our server was lovely though and clearly she wasn’t told. Make sure to order Hama Chili, Komaki roll and Madai nigiri- our 3 favorite menu items.
