100 Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Canada for 2021

OpenTable’s 100 Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining list is the fall must-have along with the fashion trend of ‘Coatigans’ and’Shakets’ as patio season takes off. OpenTable's list is generated solely from diner reviews collected between June 1, 2020 and May 31, 2021. All restaurants with a minimum "overall" score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. The overall score is made up of unique data points, such as overall diner rating, user clout, total number of reviews and regional overall rating. Qualifying restaurants were then scored and sorted according to the sum of tags for which “hot spot” was selected as a special feature.

I made a reservation for myself and two friends visiting from Australia. As always, I wasn’t disappointed and my friends loved it…….from the location, the furnishings and the food and service. We shared the charcuterie board for starters and 2 of us had the mussels and clams and the other guest had the halibut. We finished with the cheesecake. The service is always great here but last night it was impeccable with explanation for dishes and checking to make sure we were happy. It’s my go to place for fine dining in Burnaby!

The service was amazing as always! The unfortunate thing was that the food wasn't up to an acceptable temperature for me. By the time I got it back to the table it was cool, and within five minutes it was cold. The carving table had brisket, and I'm used to it being roast beef, which was a let down. So for myself in this case the price very much outweighed the product.

We loved our waitress. I believe her name is Morgan. She was so friendly, our orders were perfect and the food brought in a very timely fashion. Our only concern was the cost of the entrees. We would have loved to order a steak but the cost was too high. Unfortunate. Otherwise everyone loved their dishes. I ordered the salmon and it melted in my mouth like butter. The dessert was divine & large enough to be shareable. I appreciate that the staff recognized my friend’s birthday. She has been very ill so the dinner was particularly important for us. Wow! We just moved to the Lindsay area and some friends had recommended the restaurant! They said it was a very nice restaurant and boy were they right. We were greeted by a nice young lady and she sat us at great table and our server was so nice and attentive. The food was outstanding, I had a Hawaiian pizza with pulled pork on it, sooooo good and my husband had a chicken sandwich which he can’t stop talking about! Their cocktail menu had some nice drinks on it, I had the berry sangria, I felt like I was back in Spain. We will definitely be repeat customers, that’s for sure.

Wonderful service! Our waitress Sarah did an outstanding job: she was very professional, attentive, observant, but also courteous enough to give us time and privacy. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor, too, and able to engage in friendly yet professional conversation. All other staff (the hostess, other waiters) were extremely professional, greeted us and thanked us for coming when we were leaving, too. The facility is wonderful, the patio very welcoming, the staff made us feel special by asking, for example if we need more or less shade, and offering to take a photo of us. The food was delicious (the only reason I gave it 4 not full 5 stars because there was a bit too much butter melted around my fish and something was tiny bit too salty - might have been one of the wild mushrooms; however, itd definitely eat there again and I will return in the near future!) This indeed is a great place, I highly recommend.

First time at this restaurant. Read the reviews online. Lived up to its expectations. Fantastic wine list and not overpriced. Waitress and severs could not have been more attentive. Would recommend highly to family and friends. Only criticism - a tad loud and the 2 seat tables were tight for space and were beside the bar which caused the increased noise level. Otherwise would return again and again.

Had the 6 course dinner and wine pairing for 4 of us on the terrace. Only one course was not pleasant ”the fois gras”. All the rest of the courses were amazing. Service was excellent, way to go Lexi. Another outstanding meal at Terroni Queen Street! I had the spaghettini with lobster which was a special New Year offering. We all shared the Focu Meu pizza with eggplant and spicy ‘nduja sausage. The wine list is extensive even for wines by the glass. Everything was perfect including the service. And I love the new layout since the renovations.
