Whoa! Always one of my "go to" restaurants in Pasadena--it is one of the best. A new items introduced to the menu is the Bucattini dish. It is AMAZING!!!! It easily fed 3 people along with two appetizers. Our birthday woman was treated to the chef's grandmother's recipe--apple strudel with luscious vanilla bean ice cream. Again, the three of us shared. The Blood Orange Negroni cocktail is incredibly tasty! It's a keeper! Service is always amazing--my second home!

Came here for Sat. date night and we loved everything from start to finish. We arrived about 10 min early and got seated right away. Our host was friendly and energetic. Our server Billy was awesome and helpful. He recommended the Tuscan chargrilled octopus for apps and it was beautiful and delish. The bread basket has a variety of rolls which I liked and it was very good. I wanted the lobster ravioli but they were out, so ordered Wagyu lasagna and my bf got the Veal Chop Margherita and sautéed asparagus. We were really full so we didn’t order dessert. I can’t understand some of the bad reviews because we had a fabulous night. We would come back and get other items on the menu.

I had a 6:15 reservation. We were sat next to the open window overlooking the ocean. Amazing. We got a delicious seafood tower, the tuna roll and steak. Cocktails and breadsticks were top tier as usual. I feel bad i can’t remember the waitresses name. She was a total doll and made sure we were having a great time from start to finish. (If you read this review I’m the girl who drew a little lobster on the receipt. Anytime I come back I hope your my server again!💕) Also got to watch the sunset/moonrise. Never had a bad Mastro’s experience ever.
