The dining room philosophy is based on the popular Indian phrase “Atithi Devo Bhava”, which literally means ‘Guest Is God’. The menu is inspired by humble seasonal ingredients, that are pure, clean, natural, and energy-containing. The cuisine uses fresh produce and dairy products from local farms. The restaurant is driven by the culinary maestro, Chef Rahul Rana, who has a rich background in curating vegetarian and patisserie concepts in culinary arts. The menu at AVATARA will showcase a modern avatar of the techniques, philosophy, and story of soulful Indian food. Indian cuisine was originally predominantly vegetarian. However, the perceptions around vegetarian food have been that of limitations. The idea is to break through these perceptions and curate a unique vegetarian fine dining experience.

Truly one of the best dinner experiences I’ve ever had. Neither my daughter and I are vegetarian, but both love Indian cuisine so we decided to give it a try as they were able to accommodate her soya allergy. The first 6 courses were presented at the same time and it was perhaps the most beautiful presentation we’ve ever seen. The fact that the tastes of each might have been even more impressive was hard to believe. The staff were equally delightful and the 2.5 hours passed way too quickly. Avatara will be our first reservation when we return to Dubai.

Revelry’s menu is a creation brought to life by our Head Mixologist, Vince Varghese, in collaboration with Chef Rahul Rana. The dedicated duo of Vince and Chef Rahul has rekindled the cherished memories and nostalgic moments from their upbringing in diverse regions of India, paving the path for the inception of Revelry Chapter 1.
