My husband and I had an amazing brunch date here, the steak and eggs were amazing, the steak was perfectly cooked an a very generous portion and the eggs cooked exactly how we ordered. The service was excellent, our server was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant as both the food and service were fabulous! Our Black Truffles Gnocchi had enough truffles to make the dish memorable and both our Beef Wellingtons were cooked perfectly. We will be back as it seems it is one of the prized restaurants in Montreal’s downtown core. Bravo to the kitchen and the waiters!

We stayed here as a family to celebrate my husband's birthday during our stay in Hamilton. We were absolutely happy. The ambience is nice, the service was courteous without being intrusive. The food was sensational. There were four of us (with our children) and we each ordered something different for the starter, main course and dessert, so we had a wide range. And it was all really good. It was a thoroughly successful and wonderful evening.

I recently had a business meeting at Heartland Cafe. The atmosphere is perfect — cozy yet professional. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend the soup of the day with the signature chicken brie sandwich. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Gastown, so I looked forward to showing my SIL this place. As my SIL was still recovering from a bout of diverticulitis, I didn’t order a bottle of wine. I had two wines by the glass, and we shared a few dishes. We started with their fabulous bread service, then a Dungeness Crab salad, an Artichoke tart and their Terrine of Fois Gras. Our “main” was their Agnolotti. I had a glass of 2022 Garnier et Fils Chablis with the salads and a glass of 2016 Synchromesh Pinot Noir from Storm Haven Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC with foie gras and agnolotti. The Artichoke Tart was half salad, half egg custard tart with pieces of artichoke between the two. It was a light, refreshing dish. The Dungeness Crab Salad was a visual surprise … the crab was placed between thin slices of radish and decorated with green leaves. It was interesting; perhaps a little too subtle in flavor for me. The foie gras terrine came with two thick pieces of brioche. The square of terrine was decorated with squares of wine jelly, and cherry halves. The terrine was soft and silky and the brioche so buttery. The star of the evening was the Sweet Corn Agnolotti. Pillows of mascarpone pasta were covered with pieces of sweet corn and a generous helping of sliced black truffle. This dish was “to die for” and I wanted to order a second plate. I love the food at L’Abattoir and dine here every time I come to Vancouver.

Really enjoyed the food. I have been to basically almost every restaurant in the area and by far this was some of the most delicious and well plated food I have had here. That being said for the price the atmosphere was a bit underwhelming (not awful or anything like that) but it seemed a bit more casual than my expectation. In general it was really delicious and I will be saving up for the next time!!

We love coming here, we highly value the consistency we get everyone time we book. We always know exactly what we get and that’s great for date nights or grabbing a good bite before an event like a hockey game. The feature menu changes often and there’s usually something we try off of it. Like most sushi spots you can easily get in and out within an hour if you need to.

The service at this restaurant was incredible—our server was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet the same standard. My friend and I ordered the caesar salad, and it was overwhelmingly fishy, which was surprising. The staff kindly had it remade, but the second attempt was just as overpowering. To end the meal, we tried the tiramisu, but even the sponge had an odd fishy taste. While I truly appreciated the excellent service, the food left us disappointed. I hope the kitchen can address these issues because the team deserves food that matches their amazing hospitality.

Always a great meal at the Nash. Service is 10/10. This was the YYC EXP and the value was excellent. Shrimp ceviche and pork tenderloin were standouts on the prix fix, but everything was tasty and beautifully presented.

Perhaps the Wooly concept is best represented by renowned Canadian artist Charlie Pachter’s Queen on a Moose” paintings. These pictures conveyed what would happen if a British pub was transferred to Canada. That pub would feature local foods, beverages and decor. It would be an All-Canadian pub featuring the best of the British pub culture. A local or home-base pub for its guests.

The Wooly was inspired by the Ontario micro-brewery explosion that occurred in the late 1980’s. The brewery industry was dominated by 3 large companies for over 40 years until the start of the craft brewery phenomenon. Teaching a course on beers at the University of Guelph Bob Desautels was keenly aware of this development. When an opportunity to open a pub in downtown Guelph emerged he decided to feature only small micro-brews on tap.

The rest is history!

My wife and I treated ourselves to our annual dinner at Vineland Estates and, as always, we were blown away. We both opted for the chefs curated dinner with wine pairings and every course was amazing. The ingredients are so fresh and the ideas are so creative and inspired. My wife is has a gluten allergy and the chefs had no issue making dishes for her that were equally delicious. The hostess and server with both very friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The restaurant itself is warm, beautiful, and comfortable. This is a meal that we look forward to every year and can’t wait for the next one!
