About the restaurant
Emmer & Rye is a restaurant designed around the farmer’s haul, featuring a menu that changes daily with a focus on seasonal and local cuisine. Heirloom grains are milled fresh for house made pastas, breads, and desserts, whole animal butchery is done on site, and an extensive in house fermentation program captures flavors at their peak and preserves them for the off season.

We accept reservations 60 days in advance. For event inquiries, please visit our website.

This place was already impressive and has always had really good food. The addition of Harry the Som to the team only makes it better. Haley and Leon were great at the bar for service.

Very extensive menu with lots and lots of options. Everything tastes delicious! Place is very cute and staff is nice and helpful.

If you are interested in booking for 6 to 8 guests, please visit our website!

Due to limited space, we ask our guests to dine within the following time frames:
1-2 guests - up to 1 hour and 30 minutes
3-5 guests - up to 1 hour and 45 minutes

Tables will be held for 15 minutes after the reservation time, at which point we will make the table available to our waitlist.

If you are feeling less than your best we do ask that you reach out about your reservation, we will gladly find a time to reschedule!

due to renovations at the farmstead and the arduous County Building Department permitting process. We will announce re-opening via our newsletter, website and social media. Our sister restaurant, Bramble & Hare, is currently open. We look forward to re-opening farm dinners as soon as possible and having you join us.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed an incredible anniversary dinner together and appreciated the special touches! Definitely the most incredible dining experience of my life as it incorporated an incredible atmosphere that was both exquisite and quaint. Everything you’re looking for if you love a culinary experience that’s literally farm to table. Serves are passionate about their dishes, it makes you even more excited to enjoy the creations!The cabanas were kept plenty warm with heaters and a wood stove for outdoor January dining! Outdoor dining required or not, 12/10 recommend!!

Bramble & Hare, the original Farmhouse Kitchen and Bistro, opened its doors in July 2012. Founded by Chef Eric Skokan and his wife, Jill, as the sister restaurant to their Black Cat Farm~Table~Bistro.

Bramble & Hare has a lively, warm atmosphere in its three charming dining rooms. It is located in the heart of Boulder, CO, just off the historic Pearl Street Mall.

Features a 3-course prix fixe menu with choices for each course, Hand-crafted, seasonal cocktails featuring artisanal spirits and local ingredients show the talent of our incredible bar team who make our restaurant spring to life.

Had an amazing experience tonight and Bramble & Hare. We got there a little early and chose to hang out at the bar while Tyler and Winston took great care of us. Learned a ton about some of the spirits served - and had an amazing drink - recommend the "Thought I told you to wait in the trunk" tequila cocktail. My husband said it was one of the best vodka martinis he has had out (he makes them like he likes them at home - so tough standard to beat;)). We moved over to the dining room for dinner. I will admit I was initially scared of a 3 course meal filling me up (I don't really eat desserts which is one of the 3) but the food was unreal and portions filled us both. Plus I am vegan which most places don't love serving - I let them know ahead of time to make sure it wasn't an issue and they assured me it wouldn't be. Will, our server, greeted us and let me know he was aware I was vegan offering his recommendations for me. All the food- including dessert - was delish. Will was very attentive - never had to ask for a drink or water refill and checked in on us regularly. The place was filled with others - they are doing everything right:)

Rioja is one of our favorites. The food is consistently delicious. Troy was our server. He did a great job of checking on us without being intrusive. We will be back!

Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. The restaurant is an homage to the dishes our chef/owner grew up eating. Kachka is open for indoor onsite dining. Walk-in lounge and bar seating are also available.

Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3. Seating is first come first serve on our upper patio or indoor lounge tables.

We have proudly replaced tipping with a 22% service fee in order to provide a base wage of $25 per hour and free healthcare for all employees. More information is available at kachkapdx.com/wage-equity

Very popular restaurant so definitely want to make a reservation ahead of time. Not a cheap place to eat but definitely a good fine dining experience. Would definitely recommend the dumplings.
