Awesome. The staff helped deal with my 2 y.o. niece, who likes to twirl in the middle of the dining room. All of the room was awesome, the room with the roast beef/bacon/eggs Benedict was regularly re-stocked, and help was available. The Oyster bar was slightly slow, but did not really attract from the experience, since it was delicious. A++++

Went to celebrate our new year celebration at fumaca and it was amazing. Our group was really impressed with great quality food and amazing service. We had a fun night with great downtown view of city. We really loved their variety of meat with great salad bar and loved their cheese buns . Its a perfect place for group especially. First time here and will definitely be back. We were thrilled to find this amazing restaurant open on a Monday! Food was beautifully presented. My salmon dish was delicious- the skin was crispy and tasty on a beet, arugula and goat cheese bed. The wine pairing was perfect. Our server Naomi was very professional and knowledgeable. I made a reservation for myself and two friends visiting from Australia. As always, I wasn’t disappointed and my friends loved it…….from the location, the furnishings and the food and service. We shared the charcuterie board for starters and 2 of us had the mussels and clams and the other guest had the halibut. We finished with the cheesecake. The service is always great here but last night it was impeccable with explanation for dishes and checking to make sure we were happy. It’s my go to place for fine dining in Burnaby!

I celebrated my wife’s birthday at this restaurant and they truly made it special. We were first seated inside, but since the atmosphere was loud, upon our request, the hostess happy relocated us to the patio area. The patio area was amazing with fantastic view and spectacular service. Our server was very informative and very helpful with all our queries. Definitely recommend this place as we had a great time. We love Neverland Tea Salon because they give you a fantastic high tea experience. Beautifully furnished and decorated surroundings in a comfortable space. Impeccably presented and delicious tea sandwiches, sweets, and scones, and an extensive selection of teas from which to choose. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options are available. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. A delightful afternoon. Also, I currently use a wheelchair and the building is level entry and fully accessible. A big plus!

This has been & is one of my favourite restaurants for the past 15 yrs. I went with my family on New Year’s after almost a year later…blame it on the pandemic😊We ordered the house specials…scallops, pate & the soup, as share plates between three of us. The first two were disappointing but the soup was pretty good. We ordered three main courses…my daughter & I shared two of the main courses, which were, lentil based lingcod & crab/lobster bamboo rice dishes. They were ok & felt, it was not to the high standard of this establishment. However, the third main, beef tenderloin was v good. All said & done, this restaurant will remain as one of our favourites & we live in the area.

We come here every year following a visit to the Shaw Theatre and the restaurant never disappoints. The service is very professional and the food tasty and well presented. The price points are reasonable, a wide choice of great wines and a limited number of beers but nevertheless a selection that suits my taste in beers. I recommend the Dunkel lager. We did find the chairs a bit uncomfortable as the cushions are soft and the frame of the chair tends to bite into one thighs! Maybe just the chair I sat on.

Absolutely wonderful evening at this cute quaint bistro before Serena Ryder concert. Delicious dinner tomato salad and steak frites… gluten allergy so we had risotto instead of fries. Very accommodating and the steak was tender and wonderful flavour. We have our company Christmas party booked with them as well!! Thanks Chef Jenny for a wonderful dinner. Jody our server was knowledgeable and our wine pairing we perfect.
