Awesome. The staff helped deal with my 2 y.o. niece, who likes to twirl in the middle of the dining room. All of the room was awesome, the room with the roast beef/bacon/eggs Benedict was regularly re-stocked, and help was available. The Oyster bar was slightly slow, but did not really attract from the experience, since it was delicious. A++++

We (31F & 30M) decided to dine outside and that was lovely, the inside dining was too dark and a little too cold. Service was fantastic, our waitress was friendly and on top of everything. We ordered an app and both ordered a different special. We both felt that the portions were generous but the food lacked flavour and wasn’t anything special. Won’t likely go back as we have more favourite spots for comparable value.

Our server Stephanie was excellent and deserved more stars if they were available. We started with 2 cocktails which were made to perfection and then voila our tuna tartare showed up and with the coolest wafers which we slowly enjoyed bite for bite. We ordered a lobster pasta and a black cod, though the portions are on the small size the taste was large. To make up for the size we ordered a side of there cooked to perfection truffle fries which took care of our bellies. Stephanie then she wanted to give us a complimentary aperitif drink for our 1st anniversary celebration which was so very nice and tasted great with little colourful flowers floating on top. For desert which there were some beautiful choice we shared a fantastic chocolate cake which arrived with a sparkle. Thou we both dressed up for the occasion the majority of the clientele were casual, so it’s up to you on what you want to wear. I was in the restaurant business for a few years and it was nice to see a well oiled machine of a well trained staff especially with an open kitchen. All in all it was a great experience and the bill with tax was $250 and a well deserved $50 tip on top, so it’s not for every day but if you have a special occasion I highly recommend Marcus and don’t forget to ask for Stephanie.

As with every visit, MicMac Bar & Grill was fantastic. Pleasant greeting upon arrival, table was ready. Wait staff was at the table almost immediately for drinks. This has been & is one of my favourite restaurants for the past 15 yrs. I went with my family on New Year’s after almost a year later…blame it on the pandemic😊We ordered the house specials…scallops, pate & the soup, as share plates between three of us. The first two were disappointing but the soup was pretty good. We ordered three main courses…my daughter & I shared two of the main courses, which were, lentil based lingcod & crab/lobster bamboo rice dishes. They were ok & felt, it was not to the high standard of this establishment. However, the third main, beef tenderloin was v good. All said & done, this restaurant will remain as one of our favourites & we live in the area.

This was our first time dining outside and had a perfect lunch - we asked if the outdoor heater could be turned down so temperature was perfect, it felt quite private as the overall noise level is low and there isnt a prettier patio. The calamari was an absolute delight—nothing like anything I’ve ever had, and you definitely want to try it! The staff was very professional and friendly. We had brunch here on New Year’s Day, being seated at a lovely corner table to take in the magnificent view. The view is reason enough to spend time here. Our entrees were delicious - the crab cake benny and the classic breakfast with sausage. Our only issues were that the server was a bit brusque and never came by to offer a coffee refill. We flagged down the maitre d who apologized that they were very busy. Aside from that understandable lapse, we recommend this restaurant for the fabulous view and delicious food.
