From start to finish an amazing experience. We came for the Cinderella themed tea and were greeted at the door by a lovely lady. The decor was outstanding as was service and food. Can not fault it and are already planning our next visit. It was my mum and her twins birthday and what a lovely memory we now all share. I can’t thank you enough.

We have been going to Cecconi's for a couple of months now after our favourite restaurant nearby closed down and we needed to find a new regular. This is dining full of flavour and intelligent combinations, in a relaxed pub-style environment. The service is friendly and welcoming, and staff take the time to describe each dish, rather than just delivering it to the table. A good selection of cocktails, a reasonably eclectic wine list and comfy decor (sheepskin rugs, dried flowers) rounds it all off nicely.

We were a party of 8 at Hawksmoor Borough Market - we used the new pre ordering service for parties >7 and it worked a treat. The starters and wine were served quickly which was great and got the evening of to a great start. We had a lovely waitress in Tetyana and she handled the allergies/intolerances that we'd pre-notified quickly and very accurately (which takes so much stress out of the organisation). The food was superb - obviously the steak is amazing but we were all wowed by the enormous sticky toffee pudding and all ate far too much of it! Ambience was super - very full and lively and a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Many thanks from all in our party.

The oldest family run restaurant in London. Spanning 6 decades and three generations, Il Portico Restaurant on Kensington High Street has been cooking regional Italian specialities since it was first opened in the 1960"s by acclaimed chef Pino Chiavarini. Still managed to this day by the same family, siblings James and Francesca draw heavily from their roots, providing simple, authentic Italian food from their home region of Emilia Romagna and beyond. Pan-Asian
Blackpool
About the restaurant
Our pan-Asian menu gathers influences of cooking styles from all around Asia; including Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. The design of the restaurant is influenced by some of our favourite places to eat and drink, it takes its cues from the street food ‘Hawker’ markets of Penang mixed with the reclaimed building feel of Budapest’s ruin bars. These places both have a magical feel, something that we’ve tried to recreate for the people of Blackpool to enjoy. Penang, Malaysia is an eclectic melting pot of various food styles, with influences from Indonesia, Thailand, India and China, dishes such as soup ramen and stone-baked donburi are two great examples of the depth in flavour, which can be created when different styles come together.

Fabulous food and great service. Such a friendly welcome , especially as we went as a family of 10: 6 adults, 3 small children and a baby. The children were a little restless and noisy by the time we were ready to leave (sorry diners) but were too busy tucking into their small plate dishes during the meal. We all ordered completely different dishes: sweet potato, seaweed and veggie ramen, shredded duck bao burger, pad Thai, shredded duck Don Buri, Nasi Goreng and Beef rendang. Huge portions! This was our 4th visit and I can’t wait for our 5th! Thank you.

First class. Food and service were superb. Truly accomplished and delicious dishes. My friend, who doesn’t really care much for food, declared the honey parfait dessert to be the best thing he’d ever eaten. I had the rhubarb soufflé, the presentation of which is hilariously risqué! The rack of Dover sole was exquisite. Lots of little treats too. The sommelier was really good even though we weren’t splashing out on wine on this occasion. Her dirty dry martinis were excellent. Overall, a five-star experience. Ambience-wise, it was a bit quiet on Saturday lunch; and it is undeniably expensive. No doubt a causal connection between those two minor quibbles. However, we both agreed that it was worth it and have spent comparable sums (or more) elsewhere for far less. The team behind this restaurant are at the top of their game: they appear to love what they do; and pull out the stops to give their guests a wonderful time. The staff were attentive and kind but not intrusive. Consummate professionals.

About the restaurant
We’re big on warmth, low on fussiness: stripped wood floors, high bar stools, painted brickwork and comfy leather banquettes. Sup your pint beside our polished-oak bar or tuck yourself away in the Snug behind the frosted glass partition. You can hear yourself talk, concentrate on the crossword or nod off quietly in the corner.

To help keep everyone safe, our teams will continue to wear face masks and we'd love you to do the same when nentering and moving around the pub and dining room.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding and we look forward to seeing you.

Great food and service. My only issue was it was very loud. It was a Friday night so very busy. Just bad luck to have two tables near us that must have been hard of hearing. We had not trouble listening to their exploits. Overall a good night.

About the restaurant
The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

About the restaurant
In 1976 local musician and entrepreneur Harvey Platt had the idea to bring a slice of America to Norwich after working for and with the American war machine in South East Asia and a later visit to San Francisco to meeting up with former musician buddies.
Harvey had the opportunity to purchase an old café caravan situated on Castle Meadow Norwich next to the old cattle market.
Zaks opened in May 1976 serving the now famous chargrilled burgers in the “Original Zaks Caravan” wrapped in tin foil and cooked fresh to order in the American tradition.
If it is an authentic American dining experience you are looking for then Zaks is your kind of place. Burger, ribs and chicken are standards on our menu. Add to this succulent steaks, amazing desserts and a huge selection of authentic drinks (including shakes).
