Overall this is a fantastic place to eat and the staff were lovely ,majority of the food was fantastic, the only issue was the menu we were sent was not the menu that was being served , the dishes were simplified which was a shame , the brown shrimp arancini sadly was very bland and looked like just rice but the rest of the food was beautifully cooked , well balanced , delicious and cooked extremely well so would definitely go back as apart from the arancini the food was stunning and every member of staff was attentive friendly and brilliant !

Always fabulously executed dishes, great portion size for a tasting menu. Always creative and on point. Front of House team are sensational, personable, yet professional and so knowledgeable and passionate about the food and wine and the guests dining experience. I always feel like Ormer is an unsung hero and I cannot fathom why it doesn’t hold a Michelin star, it is far better than a lot of 1 Michelin starred restaurants I frequent.

Divine! Simply outstanding. The moment you walk in you re hit with a cacophony of sensational food. The servers were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. Very easy going. Our server talked us through the menu and informed us where the produce was from and how it was cooked. The menu is simple but by gosh it’s a hard decision. We struggled to decide on a starter and we’re offered the bread and chicken schmaltz to try on the house. It’s was melt in your mouth bread with the Schmaltz which was like mopping up the chicken juices. Seasoned to perfection. Kentucky battered mussels in a garlic butter, were sensational. I could have eaten these all night. Such a simple recipe which I’ve not seen before. But maximum flavour. Pork belly and the squid to start. The pork belly was like butter and teamed with black pudding. The taste of the different flavours coming through with each bite was incredible. The squid was soft and delicious. Best squid ever apparently. Main course was steak and venison. We were blown away. The portion sizes were huge! You could have shared them. Both meats were cooked perfect. They gave us steak knives but I think a spoon would sliced the meat! The gravy that was accompanied with both meats made the meal. The depth of flavour left us salivating. Dessert. Wow. I was too full but we wanted to try the baked Alaska. They offered to make a mini Alaska on the house just so we didn’t miss out on tasting it! Holy moly. I can’t think of a nicer dessert! Overall I’ve never eaten a nicer meal and to be served with such attention and generosity was the making of the evening. Nothing spoilt it. Nothing was too much trouble. Nothing was below par. The only things was I won’t be able to eat that every week!

This is a very busy and lively restaurant! The shared tables were arranged brilliantly and allowed those sharing the table privacy by very a cleverly arranged flower display and seating. The staff were all, without exception, delightful in every way; engaged , helpful, knowledgeable and incredibly efficient. The food was outstanding. We couldn't recommend Primeur highly enough. Beautiful restaurant full of old world charm. It has an Austrian twist so a bit of soused stuff and pickles on the menu. Disappointing to see no GF menu on offer - I am used to picking my way around a menu but always good to have some obvious signposting. I had the wedge salad (no croutons) which was refreshing and gorgeous. My friend had the watercress velouté which she said was delicious. I had the sea bass to follow which was full of flavour and meat and wonderful fluffy buttery mash with it. Yum!

Wiltons is a classy restaurant, the ambiance is ideal, muted lighting and elegant furnishings with well-spaced tables. The waiting staff were polite, efficient and friendly. My duck liver pate was delicious if a little colder than I expected, the grouse was too tough in places although the flavour was good. The undoubted star of the show was the plum & Almond crumble.. sensational. I will return asap.
