We've had amazing brunch experiences here! The food is for sure delightful and full of flavor. The people really make the place; our server Darrell has helped us out on 2 different occasions and has been our absolute favorite. He's helpful, jokes with us and offers advice on food and drinks. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. My server Jata was friendly and respectful. She provided me with good recommendations to try. The Gambino appetizer sauce was good, especially when you dipped the signature focaccia bread. The sea bass was seasoned to perfection and crispy on the ends. The smoked old fashion was yummy. Very smooth. The best tiramisu ever. I would recommend to anyone that visits Tampa. Thank you for the experience.

Decided to brave the wind and rain for another awesome meal! Stuck with all the specials tonight because.. why not??? We had WuTang Clams and Lobster Tacos....both delicious and a nice change from the usual. Entree specials were excellent...we ordered Pork Osso Bucco and Crab Stuffed Flounder. The pork came with garlic mashed that were perfectly garlicky...not too much, but a definite presence of flavor, and the coconut rice that came with the flounder was a fresh, subtle coconut that was a really nice change from the usual rice options. Also loved the creamy Dill sauce with the fish. Both dishes came with a medley of seasonal sautéed veggies including squash and zucchini...Hello Fall!!!! Portions were great, service was attentive, and we had another wonderful experience. Next time, we need to remember to save room for dessert! We will definitely be back soon!!

We went to Velvet & Rye, but have been to Wood-fire before too (also great food, a little louder than velvet, more family atmosphere). $134 for 2 entrees, 4 (alcoholic) drinks, and one appetizer (not bad, worth the price). This is a cool place to have brunch. Great harbor and city views. Food was pretty good albeit a little expensive. Cocktails are very expensive. We just did wine and mimosa. We had indoor high top seats which still had a great view. I think the igloos were really cool but they hold larger parties and we were only 2. I think this would be beautiful at night as well. From the photos I’ve seen it looks great. I don’t know if we absolutely needed a reservation as it wasn’t too busy Sunday around noon but as the afternoon goes on it definitely picks up. Looks like all lot of people just grabbed drinks and stood out on the balcony. So that’s an option too. It wasn’t too noisy or crowded. Staff were friendly.

This place has a nice, cool vibe. I’ve gone for dinner and Sunday brunch and it hasn’t been noisy but it’s very lively- especially with the decor. Young & old come here, so I think it keeps it nice and balanced. They play a variety of music that most people would ask for and they have really good drinks. The portions are decent but my waffle on my chicken n waffles was a little dry so I was a bit sad about that. I love the chef’s infused flavors so if you looking to have a worry-free good time I think you should try them out

Our table was probably the worst in the restaurant right next to the opening going into the kitchen next to the silverware drawer. We were celebrating our anniversary and it wasn’t special or romantic. However, our server was excellent and food was wonderful which helped make up for our location.
