A superb experience. Miyako and David were our servers for the evening, and they could not be more wonderful. It's evident that all the servers are well-versed in the menu, as they should be at a restaurant at this caliber. If I had to list the dishes in order of being my favorite, they would be the tuna crudo, butter poached halibut, brioche bread with herb butter, and the quail. We also got the veal tartare, the pork, and both the baba au rum and rhubard desserts, and while they were both good, they did not knock our socks off like the aforementioned courses. Is it pricey? Yes, but is it worth it? For a special occasion, I'd say so. It's easy to see why they earned a Michelin star. I hope to be back soon.

Boka was our first michelin restaurant experience last year, and we were so blown away that we immediately decided we were going to be back this summer. Yesterday, somehow, they exceeded our expectations in a huge way once again. Jack was an amazing host and person, he made sure we could get the last pieces of wagyu for the tasting menu (little did he know that I had never tried wagyu beef before and started crying because of that dish). Every single staff member was extremely hospitable (Ruben and Nelson) and the food left us speechless; this is definitely our favorite restaurant ever. We are going to be dining here every single time we are in Chicago, and hope to ask for Jack next time as well. What an amazing place, thank you.

We LOVED everything we ate at Parachute. We shared the Korean fried chicken, haemul pajeon, 30 day dry aged bulgogi, yukgaejang, and s'mores patbingsu. The vibe ws really fun and our service was great. When they open again, I'm certain they will bring the same care and expertise to another excellent experience.

We started with the Fruit De Mer Grand Platter and were pleased with the generous assortment of oysters, mussels, shrimp, crab, and lobster. My wife ordered the Ora King Salmon en Papillote and declared it to be one of the best salmon preparations she's had. I enjoyed the trout. We also shared the Haricot Vert, enhanced by copious almond slivers. My only complaint is the noise level. The restaurant has its own very cool vibe. The server was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about the cuisine and the region of Italy as well. The management was very patient with visitors that misread a ferry schedule from the Del and accommodated the party anyway. The menu has a dish to suit every palate whether you want light and fresh or more filling and comforting. We ended up ordering a little bit of everything and sharing. Highly recommend. We will be back next summer.

About the restaurant
Love and Salt is a story that begins with Cafe Pierre, a restaurant birthed by Guy Gabriele in 1977 to bring a taste of France to Los Angeles’ South Bay. While Cafe Pierre was a beloved part of the community for nearly 37 years, in 2014, Guy and his daughter Sylvie Gabriele, now the owner of Love and Salt, closed the restaurant to bring new life to the iconic space.

Love and Salt is a philosophy: that food needs only two ingredients to be great. It’s a sensibility that informs the feeling in the restaurant and the dishes on the menu — Italian-inspired with Southern California soul. An approachable wine list and classic cocktail program similarly reflect the vibrant SoCal setting of the restaurant, located just steps from the Manhattan Beach pier.

We’ve been coming here for years, with small kids too. Camper has delicious high quality food, esp the corn agnolotti, and is one of the few places that both delights foodies and also is casual enough for toddlers and young kids.

A quiet place with carefully curated and wonderfully prepared treats with a service staff that starts with the Head Chef (who visited table-side to tend to one of our diner’s special needs) and transcends all level of the team. Hokkaido scallops: yes please. Pasta: more please. Short ribs: swoon. A real treat and a rare find in the “fine dining done casually elegant” style.

Words have not been invented yet to describe "THE EXPERIENCE". Very aptly named, this dining experience transports you to a carefully curated culinary and gastronomy world where you are both a playful child and a curious adult challenging your brain and taste buds to find flaws that you simply cannot! My husband and I went to El Cielo on our wedding anniversary with a dining certificate I had won when I EmCeed the POWER OF THE HEELS Foundation women's conference. El Cielo donated the Dinner for Two Certificate. I bought a raffle ticket and I won. As a former elected official and a national organization leader, I've had my share of fine dining - all over the world. My born and bred Italian husband giftedly displays his Naples childhood pride in our kitchen. With that, we are both, naturally, quite picky and not easily impressed when we do leave the comfort of our beautiful home to dine out. El Cielo turned out to be the perfect place for these two food critics to spend their very special anniversary! From the moment you walk into El Cielo until you walk out, the expertly trained staff makes you feel welcomed, awaited, even adored. The EXPERIENCE Menu bares your name, making you instantly own the experience. It's yours to have. Mine!, one of the earliest childhood concepts, and you take off from there: every bite a trip to a place of comfort that says "This is mine. I deserve this. This is for me!" Chef takes so many liberties with tropical fruits, vegetables, meats that you'd never think could go well together, But Boy Do They!, and in such a Delicious way that has your brain AND your taste buds saying, "No flaw here", and "THANK YOU!" The bread is a tree of life and tastes just as good. The "crab cakes" invite you to play while toying with your palate. The coffee takes you atop a foggy mountain daring you to feel anything but pleasure. The EXPERIENCE undisputably takes you to El Cielo, to HEAVEN, and your brain, body and palate say, "THANK YOU FOR THIS EXPERIENCE!

As usual, the food here remains top notch. Like everywhere, prices have gone up, but the quality of the cuisine is first-rate. David, our server, was congenial as was Nikita the hostess who always has a smile on her face. I go often so it feels like family, my neighborhood restaurant (tho not in my neighborhood). Once I called attention to the maintenance of bathroom hygiene on a review and ever since they have kept the bathrooms nice and clean. So I recognize and appreciate their paying attention and addressing issues.
