Came with family on New Year’s Day. Food was pretty good, we were all satisfied with our meals. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. The overall service was a bit slow though and the prices are pretty high. The ambiance is amazing, very bright and nice.

Menu is very great on variety, and the dishes we had were all so great! The taste of everything is was good and portion sizes were great as well. I do want to say I think the business needs a bigger location, it is super crowded during busy times and everyone is just super close to one another. But again beautiful decorations and great vibes

Went there to catch up with a friend, we just made a last minute reservation without reading the menu and were pleasantly surprised. I would describe this place as classy and cozy! Very good ambience and the servers were great! They have a seafood based tasting menu which surprisingly they were able to alter as my friend did not eat raw meat, and I preferred no red meat. It was an 8 course meal and I liked everything on it except for one. It was such a great fusion meal experience! Now that I know they have rotating menus, I would definitely like to go back again someday! It was kind of dark so I didn’t take too many food pictures but the presentation was amazing! P.S. they do not offer food outside of tasting menu P.P.S. Definitely advise to check in your coat. The coats are heated upon return and was such a plus when you walk out into Chicago cold after a hearty meal.

I had such a good time with a friend at Kumiko. We were obsessed with the veggie potato salad and the cocktails were all really amazing (esp. the sea flower). We chatted for 3 hours straight and it was def the highlight of my week. The entrance was really hard to find, but it served a good atmosphere.

Spicy! & Delicious(?). If you’re looking for authentic Chinese this is probably your place. But fair warning - it’s spicy! Everything we had was tasty, even if it did come with a side of heat. The staff is friendly. Expect to order from the app, even when sitting at a table.
