Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Laurie Raphaël offers an "incredible culinary experience" with beautifully presented, creative dishes and "faultless service." While the pricing is high, many diners find it "worth every dime" for special occasions. The atmosphere is perfect for a memorable night out, although some feel the flavors fall short of expectations.

Excellent from start to finish. Imaginative, beautiful, tasty food, flawlessly served and excellently paired with wines. Bring your bank account, because it doesn’t come cheap (most expensive meal we’ve ever had!). Head and shoulders above the Michelin 1-star restaurant we dined at the next night (but, again, at a higher cost). They clearly are aiming for a second star and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them get it.

Everything about the experience was incredible in terms of the food and service. Except value... For what you get, I would not recommend the wine pairings. Way too high priced (we went with the CAD 300 per person) option. With tip, this meant dinner for two was about USD 1,300. We would have been better served to have been provided a wine list when the menus were presented.

The staff are incredible and attentive. The attention to detail is wonderful and it is a good experience. However, for the price, the food leaves alot to be desired. The presentation is wonderful but nothing tastes great. Everything is bland and over thought. The quality of the food is good but I have no doubt I could go to the local shop and make something with 10 times more flavour for 1/10th the price. I wouldn't recommend. If you want a fine dining experience it will deliver but you will leave hungry and unable to recall any of the dishes the next week.

A beautiful and delicious tasting dinner - easily accomodated my being vegetarian and my partner being pescatarian. Food was creative and rooted in local sources. I have a mobility impairment and entered through the kitchen and had the special treat of meeting the chef. Did the discovery pairing after a glass of champagne - a little drunk but still well able to discern the tiny local berry on the Last cookie. #memorable Incredible service! See the signed menu. Thank you!
