Didn’t expect tiny tilting round tables. Extremely crowded and noisy. Not a quiet romantic atmosphere I was looking for on Valentines Day.
The kitchen must have been slammed, as my husband’s steak was bloody when he ordered medium. My Kurobuta chop was dry and rubberized. It was not marbled like it should be.
The service was outstanding even though the place was packed.
It is what it is, however, we’ll probably chose another restaurant for special occasions that can accommodate quaint, romantic or otherwise atmosphere.
Great food and service. Classy restaurant
Lauren our server was outstanding!
Beautiful restaurant. Great service (special thanks and appreciation for server Trevor!). Excellent wine list. Delicious filet mignon for each of us, cooked perfectly - liked the organic selection a little more than non-organic but both were great. $20 wine corkage fee reasonable. Nothing not to like! Tip: we purchased 20%-off discount cards at Costco. We have dinner there several times per year - love the place.
Not sure if it was an off night, but our food wasn’t great. Service was slow but our server was very sweet.
Everything came out luke warm. Sent it back but when it came out again, it wasn’t much better. At that point, we just ate it.
Never had a bad meal here yet and the service was excellent.
Lauren was fantastic and the food was amazing!
Anniversary and even though we noted that on our reservation nobody mentioned it or said Happy Anniversary.
meat quality very good
We had a party of 5 and reservation for 4:30pm. We were seated immediately and our serving person, Jeffrey was energetic and amiable. Each of us had a variety of food and I found the cedar planked salmon to be an excellent choice along with the creamed spinach. Overall this was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend.
Very good food, very good service, very friendly staff but I found your prices to be on the high side.
Even higher was the noise level which I found to be uncomfortable and for this reason I doubt if I shall ever come back.
We went for our New Years Dinner with our teenagers. The food was amazing the service was awesome! We did spend $400 (with tip) for 4 meals so that’s a bit pricey but the food did taste amazing! The manager and server are always amazing there!!
I find the food and the service to be very good. I find the value to food ratio to be bit off.
We went for NYE. They were great about honoring reservations and found us a booth which we requested. They add tables for the holidays and it is almost uncomfortably crowded. Food and service was very good for such a busy night.
Food is great, service is good and the ambience was fantastic for a New Years Eve. Thank you, Larsen's!
Service was terrible, drinks were slow, food came out either undone or overdone. We had to ask many times for things. Server was not pleasant at all!
Our food was very good. Our waiter, Jesse, was excellent. He had a great personality and made our dining experience the best.
It was a Xmas gift for our grandkids
This restaurant is offers very good food, a classy (and clean) restaurant and great service. The manager even walks around checking and asking the diners how they like the food, is everything alright, etc.
Cleanliness is a big deal with me when I dine out. All too often nowadays, a lot of restaurants don’t care about the appearance of their dining area; all too often I would sot down to an half-clean table, or would see dirty napkins and food on the floors. This is particularly true of the fast food and causal dining restaurants I’ve gone to lately. This is why I appreciate how clean Larsen’s is.
The wait staff are attentive, friendly and efficient.
Being that this is Larsen’s, their menu prices are higher than I normally pay.
Big KUDOS for the classic rock music they had playing the night we dined there!!
All in all, a good dining experience and I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
Thank you Lauren and staff for delivering an awesome experience! Our family had a great time and this visit is our second family
Christmas event! We will definitely be back next year!
Christmas Eve family dinner ...as always the food and service was amazing...but sadly since last year the cost has risen terribly so we probably won’t be going back next year ...😢
Really disappointed drinks good service good way too loud to have any meaningful conversation Food really weak
The food and service were great.
Service was so very excellent. Food was delicious.
Great food! This is our second Thanksgiving dinner at Larsen’s. We love it!
Excellent service and as usual the food was delicious...
Our waiter was very helpful, excellent service and great food
Terrible service and subpar food for too much money on a Saturday night.
Great !!! Be back for Turkey day !!!
The meal was good, I would not say a 5 star piece of steak; need the bone in for rib eye, to be honest. The service was outstanding. It was our 8 year anniversary and the little ice cream and cake with the "Happy Anniversary" was a great touch. The richness of the desert rounded out the evening nicely.
This was our first visit to Larsen's. We very much enjoyed our meal. The service from Jesse was outstanding
and we will definitely request to be in his section the next time we dine there. There is one thing I would like to mention that was a little off putting, I noticed the floors were littered with debris reminiscent of a low end chain restaurant. Maybe it was just a bad night for that detail.
What an awful experience. First, we arrived about 10 minutes early, only to be told that we would not be seated until precisely at our reservation time, despite the fact that there were many empty tables. Why? Apparently it was more important that the kitchen handle its flow rather than having customers seated and enjoying drinks and appetizers. So, right from the outset the experience was off-putting. Once seated, our server was very nice. Unfortunately, she served lousy food. I ordered a $15 cocktail. It was mostly ice, with little alcohol. We started with the Ahi appetizer. It came with a few won tons. Our server offered to get us more, but the bus-person brought tortilla chips. To her credit, the server did again offer to get us more won ton chips, but by that time we were essentially done with the appetizer. Next came the main courses. I had the stuffed chicken breast. It was AWFUL on so many levels, it's hard to know where to start, but I'll try. First, though the menu describes the item as "breaded," it's more like deep fried. It was very greasy, and topped with some sort of mystery gravy that looked like it was from a can (and was tasteless). Next, the dish was over-fried, and very hard to cut, even with a steak knife. The gooey filling was OK, but nothing special. When our server came back to inquire about how the food was tasting, I informed her that mine was bad, and she said it was not one of her favorite menu items. I was disappointed that she did not offer to replace it with something else. My wife's $50 steak was tasteless. I realize that at $50, the steak might not match up to Ruth's Chris or Morton's, but it should at least be flavorful. This one was just meh. Blah. Lastly, we had the butter cake for dessert, which came to us lukewarm. Some at the table liked it. I thought it tasted like it had been in the freezer too long. We ended up spending nearly $350 for the four of us. In hindsight, burgers at 5 Guys would have been a better choice!
Service was really slow
Before making a reservation or arriving, ask if the Prime Rib is prepared that day and if it is available in medium rare.
We asked for medium rare Prime Rib and the waitress informed us that they only had well done Prime Rib.
I had the special, any steak with a crab cake. My steak was over cooked. The crab was terrible; it was all filling and very little crab meat. Also, my baked potato was cold and hard. I have been to this Larsen many times, but the meal I had on Friday, September 27th was very disappointing.
We had another exceptional experience. Our server was outstanding!
