Great menu. All 4 of us chose different meals and all were excellent. Polite and friendly team.

Always like to come to star and garter but next time I will make sure I request boot to sit in. We were on very wobbly table.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Extra roast potatoes and yorkshires offered along with an extra gravy boat. Cauliflower cheese a bit rich for me but other than that great all round. Recommend.
All 3 of us loved the decor, the food very well cooked and was substantial enough. Choices for vegetarians good and the service attentive but not smothering and rushed.
Coming again next week with a another group of friends.
