"My wife, her parents, and I dined at this restaurant this evening. The service and food were excellent. We really enjoyed the ham and cod croquetas. And the octopus was also very good. We enjoyed a very nice bottle of tempranillo, and had a good time. We enjoyed the live music. My only complaint is that when I arrived at around 7 PM, I was told there were no tables. I went on OpenTable, and booked a table. And we're seated right away. When I asked about this, after dinner, the owner had some story about how they were fully booked. And he kept showing me his iPad with the reservations for the evening. But I pointed out that if there weren't any tables, that I should've been able to book one. But he couldn't explain himself. Really, all he needed to do was say he was sorry, but it was outside of the scope of capabilities. When you're in customer service, it doesn't cost you anything to say sorry, and he could've offered me a discounted future visit, or invited me to come back. Really didn't make any sense. Not sure what's wrong with them; they should be embarrassed by this poor display."See more

"Excellent Portuguesse Food. Bacalhao ao Nata was fabulous. Both the white Porto and the regular Porto wine ( 30 yrs aged ) were excellent. Will go back and hopefully will get the same waiter - a nice lady from Venezuela."See more

"Celebration of food and wine it was fine dining – Service Stellar We went the for the 39th Anniversary of the Company. Mainly we choose as it was about the Caviar – which was heavenly. We ordered a bottle of Grand Dame Veuve Clicquot Champagne. It was served at the perfect temperature and in frosted flutes this was the beginning of a night to remember. We started with the Caviar Duo of Distinction & wow heavenly. What is nice as this is not average fair nor price point is that they have four levels of Caviar to choose from. You choose your preference and delight without feeling obligated. We went on did the 3-course tasting menu and we had different items. We choose Blue Fin Tuna, Artichoke, Gnocchi, Scallops, Filet Mignon. Of that to me the star was the Caviar baked Potato which was one of my choices. When the Filet Mignon was brought it was not at the right temperature & they immediately took it back and corrected it. While she waited, they brought her the Blue Fin Toro Tartare amuse-bouche for the inconvenience. I highly recommend it this dish as well. During that course of the evening we ordered another bottle of Champagne again served at that perfect temperature it was fine dining. Desert we were to full but one of us had ordered the chocolate desert and they went ahead and brought us the Lemon white chocolate meringue and some warm freshly made Madeleines (they are not to be missed if available). Those Madeleines were scrumptious. . The plating and overall presentation is noteworthy. Service by both David’s was stellar."See more
