My husband and I had a perfect 44th anniversary dinner at Iron and will definitely return more often. We were greeted warmly with a welcoming smile and "Happy Anniversary" by the hostess. I was impressed that "Happy Anniversary" was in large print at the bottom of our menus. What a nice touch! COCKTAILS: My husband is picky about his mule cocktail. This one was "excellent," he said. I had a French 75 (with gin) that was the perfect blend of tart lemon, sweet, and bubbly. APPETIZER: We shared the house salad made with a Vidalia dressing and emptied the plate. ENTREES: My husband swears that the eastern seaboard (MD/DC) is the only place to get really good crab cakes, but he found these to be the best he has ever eaten: lump crab with almost no breading. I ordered the catfish with the etouffee and rice. It had just the right amount of spice: flavorful, but not spicy hot). It was so good, I closed my eyes and savored every bite. DESSERT: We forced ourselves to eat only half of the entrees so we could share a dessert, although we found it hard to decide which dessert to order. The lemon tart was delicious, a perfect balance of sweet and tart with blueberries on top that surprisingly sweet. I had the recommended white port and my husband had Irish coffee (quite strong with lots of whiskey) with dessert. Amber was the perfect server: professional, cordial, and attentive without being intrusive. We plan to ask to be seated at her table in the future. Although this was a special occasion, we look forward to dining at Iron frequently for a regular date-night in downtown Pensacola.

We stumbled on this place by chance during a weekend in Pensacola. Unbelievable food. I had the grouper and it was top three fish meals I’ve ever had and we live on the coast. Daughter had meatballs and homemade rigatoni with vodka sauce and it was also outstanding. Deviled eggs as an app were equally delicious. Excellent value for upscale dining and the service is top notch.

We had a wonderful, delicious dinner at Jackson's Steakhouse on Friday 9/18/26. Our server, Sophia, was incredibly patient as some members of our party were quite late arriving due to the street fair. She provided top notch service throughout our entire meal. The food was nothing short of amazing. All of our steaks were cooked to perfection. The side dishes, especially the au gratin potatoes were excellent. All in all, it was a 5 star experience.

Love everything about Sal Terra!!! McKenna has been our server multiple times and is fantastic!!! And the food…ohlaalaa!!!
