“Tankuma” was born on the banks of the Takase River in Kyoto, famous for “Takase Fune” at the beginning of Showa period.     1000/10 experience. This place is an absolutely must when you come to Japan. Have been to Japan twice and this was by far the best experience I’ve had either time. The staff is so friendly and guide you through the entire experience educating you on where all the food, tea, etc. is from and the history behind it. This was a truly unbelievable cultural experience. Can’t wait to come back! They better open one of these in the US!!!
