Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. We're also more than happy to accommodate business dinners or other special occasions in private rooms.

    This was our first time and Miguel, the manager and Chris, our server, took fantastic care of us! We ate on the terrace with the heaters and it was perfect on a brisk night. The restaurant has a really fun vibe but best of all the food was delicious especially the swordfish special! We were pleased there were so many gluten-free options. We will definitely be back.

    Had reservation for 5 pm this past Sunday, but Mason basketball game ended early (before 4 pm) so we were glad that they let us in early. Food was great (the spinach artichoke and cheese dip was superb, as were our entrees), and the service spot on. Always have a great time at O George!

    Nice venue accross George Mason U. Quantity high, price very reasonable. Tasted good. Fabulous waiter for Monday lunch. A lot of good fried food, maybe a little more grilled. I will go back
