Wendy was an amazing server and we appreciate it her suggestions.  The meals were very tasty and memorable, we will be back. 

We chose the 2 course lunch with paired wines. The food was of excellent quality and the wines complemented the food. As we were visiting from Australia we were keen to have Canadian wines with our meal. The waiting staff were happy to substitute the suggested paired wines with Canadian choices.

Our waiter was top notch. Made it a great experience and food came very quick. Highly recommend the calamari.

We never get over how delicious and fresh the food is. Kin and Folk have very friendly and efficient staff. You can tell the employees like working there. Credit to the manager and owners for providing the right environment.

An Unforgettable Anniversary Dinner at Old Vines Restaurant Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate Winery delivered an absolutely exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, the wine pairings spot on, and the views spectacular. It was the perfect setting for celebrating our anniversary and creating another special memory together. We started with oysters, poached lobster salad, and tomato and vegetable soup, all wonderful choices. For our mains, we enjoyed the turbot and rib-eye steak, both beautifully prepared. We finished the evening with the plum and date pudding and cappuccinos — the perfect ending to an incredible meal. What made the evening even more special was the thoughtful touch from our waiter, who surprised us with two mini strawberry cakes to celebrate our anniversary. Such a lovely gesture that made us feel genuinely celebrated and added a personal touch to an already memorable evening. The atmosphere, the stunning winery views, the attention to detail, and the outstanding food and service all came together to make this a truly special experience. There are no photos to share because we were too busy enjoying the moment — and sometimes that says it all! After 27 years together, my husband said this was the best anniversary meal we’ve had to date. That is a pretty remarkable compliment and a testament to the entire team at Old Vines. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable. We look forward to returning! Highly recommend for a special occasion or anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in a beautiful setting.
