    I celebrated a friend's birthday here and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the mussels—they were outstanding!

    Pretty much my favorite bistro/restaurant at this point. The Pressroom has it all, and it's one of the only San jose/South bay establishments that gets it right, in my opinion. Their staff is wonderful (Bartenders (Tyler and Rod, you rock!), the floor servers, hosts, they're all professional and friendly), the food is fantastic, whether it's the brunch menu, dinner menu, or even the happy hour. I love their drinks, and the atmosphere is always fun.

    I’m a fan of Mexican food that’s not just the typical ordinary plate of tacos or enchiladas with rice and beans. Fortunately here in this part of California we have a lot of choices. More than 20 years ago I sometimes went to Mezcal even though in the big scheme of things it was not around the part of the Bay Area I was most often in. But I had nothing but good experiences then. Recently I was going to downtown San Jose and remembered Mezcal and decided to visit again. It was spectacular. Food, service, ambiance and margaritas. All first rate. And priced very appropriately. Now I just returned for my third visit yesterday with friends. Everyone enjoyed Mezcal. It’s on my favorites list.
