DANIEL DEL PRADOBorn in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Chef Daniel del Prado is the child of parents of Spanish and southern Italian descent. After moving to the United States in his early 20s, del Prado began his culinary career in Colorado—cooking at night and snowboarding during the day. Upon moving to Minneapolis, he had the opportunity to work in some of the finest kitchens in the Twin Cities. In 2009 del Prado teamed up with his mentor, Isaac Becker, to open Bar La Grassa in the North Loop. When it came time for del Prado to open his own concepts, he burst onto the Twin Cities scene with his premiere Linden Hills restaurant, Martina, and opened the Oaxacan Mexican-influenced Colita just a year after. Chef del Prado has continued to open new and innovative concepts.

    Such a wonderful dining experience! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and each one seemed even better than the last! For appetizers, we tried the muhammara (a roasted nut and pepper dip), rummaniyeh (an eggplant and lentil stew), and pita bread. For the main course, we ordered the beef shish, roasted red cabbage, and eggplant with peppers. We finished with knafeh for dessert. Everything was delicious! The eggplant dish, in particular, is an absolute must-try! The beef shish wasn’t my personal favorite, but I would enthusiastically recommend every other dish we tried. The service was just as impressive as the food. Our waitress and the manager were incredibly friendly, polite, attentive, and helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience with amazing food and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended!

    We had: Pike road glass of wine Raspberry beret x2 Summer breeze (sake) B.A.D Boujee Number 9 George Clooney (but screaming O sounded good too) Yaki udon Just under $200 The food and drinks were all very good. The waitress was EXTREMELY helpful, even allowing me to try a couple sake’s before receiving a very generous pour. She was very pleasant while answering all of our questions- including’will the leftovers still be good the next day’. They were. But I would not wait more than 24 hours to eat them. Overall the 3 of us really enjoyed our meal! We were able to use a parking app and parked right across the street.
