DANIEL DEL PRADOBorn in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Chef Daniel del Prado is the child of parents of Spanish and southern Italian descent. After moving to the United States in his early 20s, del Prado began his culinary career in Colorado—cooking at night and snowboarding during the day. Upon moving to Minneapolis, he had the opportunity to work in some of the finest kitchens in the Twin Cities. In 2009 del Prado teamed up with his mentor, Isaac Becker, to open Bar La Grassa in the North Loop. When it came time for del Prado to open his own concepts, he burst onto the Twin Cities scene with his premiere Linden Hills restaurant, Martina, and opened the Oaxacan Mexican-influenced Colita just a year after. Chef del Prado has continued to open new and innovative concepts.

    We have been coming to Owamni every year on our annual trip to MN. I anticipated indigena to be amazing but was cautious because it was so much to live up to. That said, it did not disappoint. It’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The food, as always, is as incredible and unique. The service was outstanding. And the space/experience is top rate. Can’t wait to go back.

    Found the reservation last minute to celebrate a friends birthday. Everything was nothing short of amazing. I’m not a big Italian person, but the food was delicious! We had the chicken parm, seafood pasta, & braised lamb. The lamb was the star of the show. The cocktails were all very well balanced as well. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and had great energy. Will definitely be back! 10/10

    What an incredible experience at Manny’s Steakhouse in downtown Minneapolis! From the moment we arrived, everything was first-class. The atmosphere, energy, food, and especially the customer service were nothing short of outstanding. A very special shout-out to our server, Heidi, who truly made the evening unforgettable. She was absolutely amazing! Her attention to detail, genuine warmth, personality, and ability to make us feel special really set this experience apart. What impressed me most was that it never felt like we were being pushed to order more food or spend more money. Instead, Heidi was genuinely focused on making sure we had an exceptional evening. That level of sincerity and hospitality is rare, and it made the entire experience feel like a celebration. Honestly, it felt more like being treated to a birthday dinner than simply going out for a meal! The food was fantastic, but it was the people, energy, and exceptional service that made the evening so memorable. A perfect 10 out of 10 across the board! Manny’s clearly understands what true hospitality is all about. Heidi, thank you for making our evening so special. You are a tremendous ambassador for Manny’s Steakhouse!
