Restaurants near Saint Edward State Park

This restaurant is a must, me and a friend went this past weekend and everything was great from the food to the atmosphere and vibes. I highly recommend this place. I ordered the wild boar bolognese and my friend had the filetto mignon gorgonzola which was so delicious. Please don’t second coming here you will enjoy everything. There is also a member of staff who plays the guitar and sings at your table.

Had the lamb ragu and sea scallops specials! Delicious 😋. Wonderful evening to celebrate husband’s birthday! Wait staff also outstanding. Highly recommend our favorite restaurant 🙏

We tried Sparrow for the first time. The sword fish was one of the best preparations I have ever had of this fish that I find difficult to prepare because it easily becomes too dry. They used quality fish and a nice sauce that produced a delicious meal. My wife had the eggplant parmigiana and sausage dish that was unique and tasty. She is a lover of eggplant parmigiana and gave it 5 stars. The service was good. We will be returning.

We had a quiet Wednesday lunch here. What was good ... An intriguingly curated cocktail menu - we wanted to try them all! The best fries we have ever had - seriously! Worth the visit just to try them. My wife had an outstandingly good Wagyu beef burger. Service was excellent - Jorge is a star! Ambience - it's an airy open restaurant in the lodge and of course in a beautiful setting. What was moderate ... I had a a cauliflower steak with mushrooms and a cauliflower / mushroom puree. It was good, but just a little bland. I'd have liked a dash of something sharp / spicy to add some lift, but then I do like a kick in my lunch. Nevertheless it was good and nicely prepared and presented. And nothing bad at all. An excellent lunch and good value too. Definitely going again, but I may watch the menu for changes in the vegetarian option.
