I recently attended the Beard @ the Beach dinner at Orion’s with a good friend who is always willing to explore new cities with an open mind to try new foods. Little did we know when I reserved this dinner and the dinner at Becca the previous evening what a treasure trove of deliciousness we were walking into. Beautifully presented foods tantalizing our taste buds with some of the finest ingredients. We went on a culinary journey of fresh seafood caught that morning, farm vegetables from local farmers, richest of beef and killer desserts like the Apple Tarte Tartin @ Becca, then this amazing chocolate crème brûlée @ Orion’s with homemade marshmallows you warmed over a shared burner to char, melt, maybe stir into your brûlée . They were undeniably some of the best desserts we have eaten even though we were more than satiated .…. The talented Chefs at ORION’s & BECCA’s Edgar Kano with their staffs should be on the list of Top Chefs in the US. The dinners were more than fabulous. I don’t have enough words to describe,my photos will my bragging points about both dinners. Don’t hesitate to sponsor these local restaurants in support of this Outstanding local group showcasing Talented Chefs thinking Out of the Box. They Should all garner national attention. Virginia Beach has Chefs with a vision that could out perform some of the best NYC or DC restaurants. Don’t take my word for it. Sign up for these dinners sponsored by the VB Restaurant Association. Stray from your usual palate. Take the risk of walking on the wild side of Spending more money than usual on a multi-course culinary adventure. The menus of these two restaurants were paired with incredible wines selected by sommelier David Haskell from around the world. Countries most never have the opportunity to travel to or think wines would be grown in more arid regions of the world like Lebanon. Take a chance. Make that reservation.

Outstanding! Service, ambiance, and food and sunset view that is breathtaking! What an incredible dining experience. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a great evening at Seanna. Tavern. The food is special and the service left nothing undone. the shrimp & grits, scallops, calamari and burrata with tomato jam were our favorites. The chicken Parmesan we saw looked like a must try. I highly recommend Seanna Tavern.
